GARTER ST (back and forth):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.
----------------------------------------------------------

SLIPPER:
Worked back and forth on needle in GARTER ST - see explanation above.
Cast on 28-31-35 sts on needle size 6 mm with 1 strand sea blue + 1 strand aqua blue (= 2 strands). Insert 1 marker after 22-24-26 sts seen from RS (6-7-9 sts = toe). Then K back and forth on needle (1st row = RS), but on every 4th row (i.e. every other row from RS) turn before marker so that there are fewer rows on toe. NOTE: Tighten yarn a little extra when turning in the middle of row to avoid holes.
Continue like this back and forth until piece measures 8-9-10 cm - REMEMBER KNITTING TENSION. On the next row from RS, cast off the first 14-16-17 sts = 14-15-18 sts remain on needle. Continue as before back and forth over these sts until approx. 2-2-3 cm have been worked after the sts cast off(measured at the widest). Now cast on 14-16-17 new sts at the end of next row from WS = 28-31-35 sts. Continue back and forth as before until piece measures 8-9-10 cm from where the new sts were cast on, loosely cast off.

ASSEMBLY:
Pull a yarn through the front loop of every st on the toe, tighten tog and fasten. Start at the end of the toe and sew the slipper tog edge to edge in the front loop of the outermost sts under the foot and continue up the back of the heel to avoid a chunky seam. Fasten yarn tightly. Knit another slipper.

FLOWER:
Work 4 flowers, 2 with cerise on 2nd round and 2 with off white on 2nd round.
Worked in the round. Work as follows:
Work 4 ch on hook size 4 mm with some left-over goldenrod and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 1 ch, around ring work * 1 dc, 2 ch *, repeat from *-* 4 more times. Switch to cerise/off white and work 1 sl st in first ch at beg of round = 5 ch-spaces.
ROUND 2: 1 ch, in every ch-space work: 1 dc, 1 ch, 2 tr, 2 ch, 2 tr, 1 ch, 1 dc. Finish with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round = 5 leaves. Cut the yarn and fasten. Sew two flowers on each slipper.
