Dear Mrs Kristek, The DROPS patterns are knitted and crocheted by thousands and thousands of people around the world. We understand however that in certain countries, with different knitting/crochet traditions than Scandinavia, our patterns might be written in a way that differs from what some are used to. But of course we want everyone to understand our patterns, so that’s why we have created an extensive library of tutorial videos as well as step by step lessons that explain how to follow the techniques we use and how to read the diagrams in our patterns. Give them a try!

Hej - jeg forsøger lige at gennemskue opskriften inden jeg går i gang. Jeg forstår ikke rk 1 "...A.1b over de ns 8-8 (16-18) lm" - det må skulle være A.2a i stedet? På forhånd tak Birgitte

Hei Birgitte. Ja, det har du helt rett i, det skal strikkes A.2a mellom A.1a og A.3a. Dette skal vi få korrigert i oppskriften. Takk for beskjed og god fornøyelse.

EXPLANATION FOR THE PATTERN: ---------------------------------------------------------- PATTERN: See diagrams A.1 to A.3. ---------------------------------------------------------- START THE PIECE HERE: ---------------------------------------------------------- HEAD BAND - SHORT SUMMARY OF PIECE: Worked back and forth and sewn together when finished. HEAD BAND: Work 11-11 chain stitches on hook size 5.5 mm with Air. Then work according to diagram as follows: Work A.1a over the first 2 chain stitches, A.2a over the next 8-8 chain stitches (= 4-4 repetitions) and A.3a over the last chain stitch. Then work A.1b over A.1a, A.2b over A.2a and A.3b over A.3a. Then repeat A.1b/A.2b/A.3b - REMEMBER CROCHET TENSION. Continue until piece measures 49-51 cm, fasten off. ASSEMBLY: Place short sides edge to edge and sew in outer loops of edge stitches to avoid a chunky seam. ---------------------------------------------------------- NECK WARMER - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE: Worked back and forth and sewn together when finished. NECK WARMER: Work 19-21 chain stitches on hook size 5.5 mm with Air. Then work according to diagram as follows: Work A.1a over the first 2 chain stitches, A.2a over the next 16-18 chain stitches (= 8-9 repetitions) and A.3a over the last chain stitch. Then work A.1b over A.1a, A.2b over A.2a and A.3b over A.3a. Then repeat A.1b/A.2b/A.3b - REMEMBER CROCHET TENSION. When piece measures 56-56 cm, insert a marker on left side of piece (seen from right side) - marker indicates where end of neck warmer should be assembled. Continue to work until piece measures 20-22 from marker (piece measures 76-78 cm in total), fasten off. ASSEMBLY: Sew cast-on edge to long side of piece from marker inserted and down to finishing edge - sew in outer loop of outermost stitches to avoid a chunky seam. |
