Enig med flere her. Hvordan strikke hæl her er kjempevanskelig å forstå.

Having inserted thread over 24 sts, should the continuation of the pattern as before be only on the remaining stitches? Looking on at The Heel, where have 48 sts come from when I only have 24 sts on thread? Having made masses of socks using UK patterns, following the Norwegian ones is proving a real challenge and one I am determined to overcome because I love the designs and have just completed a wonderful jacket.
24.11.2014 - 08:40DROPS Design answered:
Dear Linda, first work the 24 sts with a separate yarn then work again these sts in pattern. Afterwards, you will pull out the thread and will get the 24 sts you have worked before the thread + the 24 sts worked after the thread = 48 sts. Happy knitting!

PATTERN: See diagram M.1 to M.5. Diagram shows 1 pattern repeat. The entire pattern is worked in stocking st. DECREASING TIP (applies to heel): Work round until 1 st before the 2 medium grey sts at the side, K2 tog with medium grey, slip the second of the 2 medium grey sts as if to K, K 1 medium grey st, psso. -------------------------------------------------------- SOCK: Worked in the round on double pointed needles. Cast on 54-54-54 sts with medium grey on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm. K 4 rounds, P 1 round (= folding edge) and K 4 rounds. Continue in M.1 (= 9 sts), AT THE SAME TIME on last round in M.1 adjust no of sts to 52-56-60. After M.1 continue in M.2 (= 4 sts) on all sts for 5-6-9 cm. After M.2 continue as follows: M.3 (= 29 sts), and M.2 on the remaining sts. When you reach the arrow for your size in diagram for M.3, work a loose thread in over 22-24-26 sts from M.2 (there are now 1-2-3 sts from M.2 before thread, and 0-1-2 sts from M.2 after thread), on next row continue in pattern as before. After 1 vertical repeat of M.3 work M.4 on all sts (approx 7 cm now remain for all sizes). AT THE SAME TIME dec each side of the first and the last st from M.3. Dec as follows before sts: K2 tog with. Dec as follows after sts: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso, with medium grey. Dec on every other round a total of 10-11-11 times = 12-12-16 sts, cut the thread, pull it through remaining sts , tighten and fasten Fold the top edge towards WS and fasten. HEEL: Pull out the loose thread and distribute sts from each side of thread on double pointed needles size 3.5 mm = 44-48-52 sts. Beg in the middle at the side and work round as follows: Work medium grey stocking st on the 22-24-26 sts under heel, pick up 2 sts at the side, work M.2 as before on the 22-24-26 sts on the back of heel and pick up 2 sts at the side = 48-52-56 sts. Work next round as follows: M.5 on the 22-24-26 sts under heel, 2 medium grey sts, M.2 as before on the 22-24-26 sts on back of heel and 2 medium grey sts. Continue like this, AT THE SAME TIME dec 1 st before and after 2 medium grey sts each side – see DECREASING TIP - on every other round a total of 6-7-7 times = 24-24-28 sts left on needle. K 1 round with medium grey on all sts and cast off. Sew heel tog, edge to edge in cast off row. |
