Clue #1 - Flower square 1 Anemone

Here's the 1st clue for our Mystery Blanket CAL in an easy step by step - everyone can join! You can also find a video for the whole clue at the bottom of this lesson!

Work 8 ch on hook size 3 mm / C/2 with light turquoise.

Form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.

ROUND 1: Work 1 ch (= 1st sc), 11 sc around ch-ring, finish with 1 sl st in ch from beg of round = 12 sc.

ROUND 2: Work 6 ch (3 ch = 1st dc), * skip 1 sc, 1 dc in next sc, 3 ch*, repeat from *-*, and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round - READ COLOUR CHANGE = 6 ch-spaces. Cut the yarn.

COLOUR CHANGE:

When changing colour work as follows: Before last pull through of last loop on hook, switch colour, pull the last loop on hook through with the new colour.

ROUND 3: Switch to pink and work 1 sl st around first ch-space, around every ch-space work as follows: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc and 1 sc with 1 ch between each leaf, finish with 1 sl st in first sl st on round - READ COLOUR CHANGE = 6 flower leaves. Cut the yarn.

The flower is done. Now work SQUARE.

ROUND 1: Switch to white and turn piece, from WS * 4 ch, 1 sl st around first/next ch from 3rd round *. Repeat from *-* and finish with 1 sl st in 1st ch at beg of round. = 6 ch-spaces.

ROUND 2: Turn piece, from RS 1 sl st in first ch-space, 3 ch (= 1 dc), 3 dc in same ch-space, * (2 dc, 2 ch, 4 dc) in next ch-space, (4 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in next ch-space *, 4 dc in next ch-space repeat from *-* 1 more time, and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round. = 32 dc, 4 ch-spaces.

ROUND 3: 3 ch (= 1 dc), work 1 dc in every dc until 2 ch-loop in each corner, work (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in each corner around the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round = 48 dc, 4 ch-spaces.

ROUND 4: 3 ch (= 1 dc), work 1 dc in every dc until 2 ch-loop in each corner, work (2 dc, 2 ch, 2 dc) in each corner around the entire round and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch at beg of round = 64 dc, 4 ch-spaces.

ROUND 5: 1 ch (= 1 sc), skip 1st dc, work 1 sc in every dc until 2 ch-loop in each corner, work (1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 sc) in each corner around entire round. Finish with 1 sl st in first dc from beg of round = 72 sc and 4 hdc around entire square. Cut the yarn.

Back:

Finished!

A piece Anemona flower finished. Fasten off and work 5 squares in total the same way in the same colours - or use the colours you like.

Bonjour Celinka, il faut effectivement bien veiller à conserver la couleur principale (blanc ici), et répartir les couleurs régulièrement. De nouvelles infos ont été ajoutées ici (cf § "Taille"). Bon crochet!

Dear Julie, a dtr is worked as follows: YO 2 times, then insert crochet around ch-space, grap the yarn and pull it through the ch-space (= 4 loops on hook), *make a YO and pull it through the 2 first loops on hook*, repeat from *-* 2 more times = 1 st on hook. Happy crocheting!

Hola Rocio. El tamaño total de la manta (95x125) está calculado en base a cuadrados de 9.5 x 9.5 cm. Si el cuadrado tiene menor tamaño, para alcanzar el tamaño necesario vas a tener que hacer más cuadrados. En caso contrario la manta quedará más pequeña.
