Have you actually watched the video and compared what they are doing with the written pattern? You sound like you think they match... You are trying to put the problem on me instead of being helpful.... And fixing the actual real problem! I guess I will consider the video to be not reliable then. What's the point of answering so quickly if you don't help at all. 🤦🏼♀️

Dear Véronique, so sorry I wasn't able to help you, maybe I just understand your question, would it be possible for you to reword one more time? Thanks for your comprehension.

Your answer does not answer my question. I am saying they are not following the written pattern on the video. They are making différents stitches. What is the point of making a video if they are NOT following the pattern? You should make a video where they are actually doing the right stitches. This would be helpful instead of being confusing.

Dear Véronique, can it be a matter of terminology? UK-English is different from US-English crochet terminology - or just edit the pattern into French if it can help. Happy crocheting!

Hi, I am just starting at rank one and it is already not accurate with the written pattern. It says dc after the chain 8 but it is not what they do in the video. What the point of making a video if they don’t follow the pattern?? Very confusing! What should we follow? Tanks.
13.01.2025 - 02:06DROPS Design :
Dear Veronique, you can follow first the written pattern explaining how to work the first rows. After the middle stitch in A.1 (= the part on the left side of diagram) work the other side of shawl reading diagram from the left towards the right after this/these stitch/stitches in the middle of the shawl. Happy crocheting!

This video does not match the Evening Breath pattern (162-12). Where can I get the video tutorial? I seem to be having a problem with this pattern and feel that the video will give me a better insight. Thank you!

Dear Jill, this is the right video to this pattern - make sure you are following the pattern in the correct language, UK and US crochet terminology are different. Happy crocheting!

In this DROPS video we show you how to crochet chart A.2 and A.X for the edge of the Evening Breath shawl in DROPS 162-12. We crochet one complete repeat of both charts and we fast forward when repeating the pattern. This shawl is made in DROPS Delight, but in the video we crochet with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find the pattern by clicking on the picture below. To see how to crochet chart A.1, go to: How to crochet A.1 in DROPS 162-12.
In this DROPS video we show how to fasten some threads to the shawl in the Magic Summer DROPS-Along. Remember to fasten the thread tight so it do not come out again. You can also spilt the thread into multiple thinner threads and then sew these thinner threads away in different directions. This shawl is crocheted I DROPS Cotton Merino. To get more information about this shawl, go to: DROPS-ALONG Magic Summer - Shawl
Äntligen förstår jag!!! Det är en tredubbelstolpe. Inte 13 dubbel stolpar som det står!!!!!! Så knöppt det blev!!!
