How to fasten fringes to the felted slipper in DROPS 166-29

In this DROPS video we show how you can attach the fringes to the felted slippers in DROPS 166-29. First we knit one row from WS, which we will crochet loops on later, and then how we get fringes to hang nicely and how we attach the fringes to the loops on the slippers.

These slippers are made in DROPS Snow, we knit with the same yarn in the video.

Hei Anita. I oppskriften til DROPS 166-29 står det at i størrelse 40/42 vil fotens lengde etter toving komme på ca 26 cm og høyden på ca 19 cm. mvh DROPS design

In this DROPS video, we show you how to knit a sock with a gusset heel - arguably the most common method for working a heel. To begin, the stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows: 1) The heel is first worked in height, back and forth across the heel-stitches. 2) Next, the bottom of the heel is worked to the required width and length by working short rows and decreasing stitches. 3) Once this step is completed, continue knitting in the round across all stitches, knitting up stitches on both sides of the heel (along the length). 4) The width and shape of the foot is worked by decreasing stitches on both sides, forming a small gusset heel – that is why this type of heel is known as a gusset heel.

In this DROPS video we show how to start a sock with a flounce, like the “Dainty Duo” socks in DROPS 229-19. We cast on with 2 strands, but continue with 1 strand. Then we knit 4 rounds and on the next round we knit all stitches together 2 by 2. Then we work a rib (knit 1 twisted/purl 1). In this DROPS video we show how to work the “Carrot Squash” slippers in DROPS 203-37. We have already cast on stitches for size 35/37 and start the video by showing round 1 (only Knit). Then the rib, K1, P1. After the rib put 31 stitches on a stitch holder, work the other stitches back and forth. Then work these stitches, the new pickup stitches along the sides and the stitches from the stitch holder, and work around again. Decrease stitches and work around to finish measurement, cast off and fold the slipper and sew under foot in the outermost loop of the outermost stitch.
