How to crochet a skull

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet a skull.

ROUND 1: Work 11 ch and form a ring with 1 sl st, crochet 11 new ch and finish with 1 sl st in same ch as the other sl st = 8 form.
ROUND 2: 1 ch, 18 dc in first ch-ring, then 18 dc in the second ch-ring and finish with 1 sl st in the ch in beg of round.
ROUND 3: 3 ch, 1 tr in each of the first 4 dc, then work as follows in every dc, , 3 htr, 4 dc, 1 htr, 3 tr, 6 ch, skip over 6 dc ( 3 dc on each side of the eyes), 3 tr, 1 htr, 4 dc, 3 htr, 4 tr and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd ch from beg of round.
ROUND 4: 3 ch, now crochet in each stitch, 3 tr, 4 htr, 4 dc, 2 htr and 2 tr *. Work 4 tr around ch-loop, continue to crochet in each stitch as follows: 2 tr, 2 htr, 4 dc, 4 htr, 3 tr and finish with 1 sl st in 3rd from beg of round. Cut the thread.

Turn the piece upside down.
Fasten the thread with a dc in 1st tr before the 4 tr which was crocheted around the ch-loop on round 4. (see * over ). Work 1 dc in the 2nd tr, 1 dc in 1st tr in ch-loop , 4 ch, * 1 tr in next tr, 1 ch * repeat * - * 2 more times. Work 3 ch, 1 dc in each of the next 2 sts, finish with 1 sl st in next st. Cut the thread.
