Thanks for this, but I'm talking about the very last row 3 with the instruction that says "work next row as explained but P st inside st in garter instead of K" before you do the knit row with increases.

Thanks for your previous advice which helped a lot. Can I now double-check the instructions for the last row 3 repeat. Does it mean K2, *K1, lift loop around st and P this tog with st on needle*, repeat from * to * until 2sts remain on needle, K2 - or K2, *P1, lift loop around st and P this tog with st on needle*, repeat from * to * until 2sts remain on needle, K2 - or something else? Many thanks.

Dear Mrs Tasker, on row 3, you work K2, *K1, lift loop around st and K this st tog with next st on left needle (as shown in video)*, repeat from *-* until to 2 sts remain and finish with K2. On next row (from RS) you will work K2, *K1, K1 in sst from previous row and drop st off left needle*, repeat from *-* and finish with K2. Happy knitting!

I have watched the video for waffle stitch several times, but my attempts never look like the video and i don't know where I'm going wrong. Please can someone help?
09.09.2017 - 16:35DROPS Design :
Dear Mrs Tasker, try swatching over 16 sts as on our video and follow the written pattern at the same time (working pattern with K2 on each side). Remember your DROPS store can also assist you, even per mail or telephone. Happy knitting!

I think, It is like Row2 just the knits in the repeat part are exchanged: Row 4 (RS): K 2, * K 1, K 1 in st from previous row and then drop st off left needle *, repeat from *-* until 2 sts remain on row, K 2.
