How to knit a small simple cable without using a cable needle (mock cable)
The pattern is knitted over 2 and 3 stitches in the width and 1 repeat in hight is 4 rows. In this video we purl around the pattern with 1 edge st at each side. The number of p st and placement of the pattern can vary in each pattern:
Row 1 (RS): 1 edge st, p3, k1, yo, k1, p3, 1 edge st
Row 2 (WS): 1 edge st, k3, p3 (p the yo between the 2 st), k3 and 1 edge st
Row 3: 1 edge st, p3, K3, pass first st worked over the other 2 so that this st is around the last 2 sts on right needle (= 1 st dec), p3 and 1 edge st
Row 4: 1 edge st, k3, p2, k3 and 1 edge st
Repeat rows 1-4.

Bonjour Merci de votre réponse et de la vidéo Est ce possible d'avoir une vidéo du montage avec le tricot en rond (broche circulaire ) J'ai revue la vidéo et comme vous tourner le travail ceci est moins bon pour moi Je tricote depuis peu , j'apprend a lire les plans Merci et Bonne Journée

Bonjour Mme Lallemand, vous trouverez ici la vidéo montrant comment tricoter du jersey en rond sur aiguille circulaire, le montage des mailles se fait comme sur des aiguilles droites. Bon tricot!
