How to knit from the center and out

In this DROPS video we show how you can knit from the center of the piece and out.
Here we use DROPS 146-2 as an example, but several of our most popular patterns starts in the center of the piece with a few stitches and double pointed needles. It's a bit tricky to get started but gets easier and easier as you increase. Make sure to use markers to show where the increases are made. Keep increasing and work your way out. As the piece grows you continue with a longer and longer circular needle to fit all stitches.
You must read the pattern and look at the chart to be able to follow. You’ll find patterns using this technique by clicking on the pictures below.

Bonjour Mme Wolff, dans le modèle DROPS 120-22, on rabat les mailles des emmanchures en tricotant ainsi: tricotez jusqu'à 5 m avant le marqueur et rabattez 10 m (=5 m avant+5 m après le marqueur), répétez au 2ème marqueur et terminez le tour. Pour l'encolure, tricotez le rang jusqu'au niveau des mailles en attente, tournez et tricotez le rang suivant sur l'envers - voir aussi jersey en aller-retour sur aig. circ. Det er da langt nemmere når i strikker på så tykke pinde, meget svært på de pinde der skal bruges i opskriften.
