In this DROPS video we show how to crochet an elastic rib pattern, this suits perfectly as a hat edge or edge on socks.
Ch a number of sts for desired width.
Work 1 dc in 2nd ch from hook, then work 1 dc in every ch across.
Work back and forth with dc's in the back loops of the sts until given measure.
