How to put markers, increase to raglan and how to work short rows
We have already worked a double neckline and in the video, l we show how we work a round where we put 4 markers and increase to raglan on each side of these markers. On next round we work the increases stitches twisted so that there are no holes. Then we work short rows, we also increase to raglan on every row and when the short rows are finished, we only increase to raglan on every other round.
We use the yarn DROPS Nepal in the video. You must read a pattern with this technique to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find a pattern by clicking on the picture below.

Nel video non vedo i ferri accorciati alla tedesca, sembra che ci si limiti a girare il lavorio .Come è possibile? La maglia non ha buchi in corrispondenza del giro.

Hei Hilde. Stram tråden og evnt løft opp tråden under og strikk denne sammen med masken, da minsker du"hullet". Om du strikker i riller (rett fra retten/rett fra vrangen), kan du ta en titt på videoen: Hvordan strikke forkortede pinner i riller med kast. Og les beskrivelsen til den videoen. 20.03.2023 - 09:51Ich habe mithilfe dieses Videos das erste Mal verkürzte Reihen bei einer Drops-Anleitung gestrickt und bin etwas enttäuscht, dass diese Methode keinen "Trick" zur Vermeidung von Löchern beinhaltet. Hätte ich geahnt, dass ich dadurch vorne unschöne Löcher bekomme, hätte ich mich vorher lieber woanders belesen. Gibt es vielleicht eine Methode, wie ich die Löcher durch das Vernähen der Fäden auf der Rückseite kaschieren kann?

26.02.2023 - 19:51Hej!\\r\\nHur ökar jag (hur tänker) vid markörerna när jag ökar vid dom? Flyttar jag med markören? Jag får problem i början/slutet på varvet. Halskanten är stickad och jag ska göra raglanökningar vartannat varv. Mönstret är ”Lonely Horizon” , Drops 201-15, modell bm-063 .

Hei Eva. Nei, ikke flytt markøren. Det skal alltid være 2 masker før markøren og 2 masker etter maskøren før økningene. Om du ser på videoen "Hur man stickar en tröja uppifrån och ner" , som ligger under selve oppskriften du strikker, vil den være til hjelp. mvh DROPS Design
27.02.2023 - 10:56Hi. I am just starting Wind Down pattern 104. I have done the fist round with the A1 pattern. Do I keep all the purl stitches in a row, or do the gradually widen as the increases and decreases are worked in the A1 pattern . This is my first top down and in the round jumper. I am a good sock knitter! Thank you.

Dear Teresa, start reading diagrams bottom up, so you will start A.1 with some rib, then a lace pattern then from 13th row start decreasing as shown in the diagram - there should be 4 sts in every A.1 when diagram is done. Now work A.2 (= 8 sts) over A.1 (= 2 repeats of A.1 = 1 repeat of A.2 in width). Happy knitting!
