Dear Mrs Rich, when you have to decrease stitches in a cable (ex 7 sts in M.3 in Snuggly Bunny), decrease 1 stitch in each of the small cables and 5 stitches in the middle cable by working K2 tog. Happy knitting!

This still doesn’t help. I really need to see a tutorial video. The way I understand it, it leaves the cable uneven.
