In this DROPS video we show how to purl 2 stitches in 1 knit stitch, like it is done in the «November Woodland» jumper in DROPS 216-24 and in the «Silent Woodland Warmer» neck warmer in DROPS 214-21. At the same time, you increase stitches and a textured pattern is created.
These jumper and neck warmer are worked in DROPS Polaris, the same yarn we use in the video.
You must read the pattern and look at the charts if there are any to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find patterns by clicking on one of the pictures below.

I don’t understand the symbols on the diagrams and there is no sound in the video. Can you tell me what /, a black dot and an empty square mean? Also are we starting at the top of the diagram or the bottom? So confused!
