How to knit in stitch below and how to increase 4 stitches in 1 stitch
We start the video by showing how we work chart A.1 and then especially how we knit 1 stitch below next stitch and name it an English rib stitch. We show 1st round of A.1 4 times. On 2nd round of diagram purl all sts.
When we work A.2 we show how to knit 5 stitches in the English rib stitch as follows: Knit 1, but wait to slip the stitch off the needle, * make 1 yarn over on right needle, knit same stitch without slipping the stitch off left needle *, work from *-* 2 times in total, then drop this stitch off left needle = 5 stitches (i.e. 4 stitches increased).
Then we show how chart A.3 is worked.
We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. This yarn is quite thick, but if you knit with a thinner yarn the increase in the English rib stitch will be better.

16.11.2020 - 16:28Når A1 er strikket færdigt slutter det på en omgang kun med vrang. Når A2 starter på videoen ser det ud som om patentmasken er strikket ret på forrige omgang. Skal jeg så ikke slutte A1 med vrangmasker på hele omgangen.
