In this DROPS video we show how to knit entrelac on straight needles. Entrelac is when you knit squares in multiple directions.
First you make a row of triangles, then you pick up sts along the sides, work half squares at each side and full squares in the middle.
If each square should be i.e 5 sts wide, then you cast on 5 sts for each triangle to start with. So for 3 triangles you cast on 15 sts.

Vielen Dank für dieses Video. So ist es viel einfacher als mit der schriftlichen Anleitung. Vor allem auch, weil man sofort sieht wo man zum Maschen auffassen einstechen muss. Schön wäre es wenn auch die Abschlusskante gezeigt werden könnte. Ich nehme an man strickt dann einfach verkürzte Reihen. Ich werd´s mal probieren.

In this DROPS video we show how to work a rib with knit 1, purl 1 on circular needle. Working a rib gives an elastic piece that is great for cuffs and edges.
