EXPLANATIONS FOR THE PATTERN:

-------------------------------------------------------

PATTERN:
Diagram A.1 is divided into 3 parts: B-C-D. Each round starts with diagram B, diagram C is repeated nearly to end of round and then you finish with diagram D.

TWISTED CORD:
Cut 2 strands of 1.5 metres. Tie the strands together with a small knot in each end. Twist the strands together until they begin to resist, fold double and the cord will continue to twist. Untie the small knots and thread the cord through the holes in the last round on the bag. Tie the two ends together.

START THE PIECE HERE:

-------------------------------------------------------

SOAP BAG - SHORT OVERVIEW OF THE PIECE:
The piece is worked in the round, bottom up; the bottom sewn together to finish. Then a twisted cord is threaded through the holes in the last round of the bag.

SOAP BAG:
Work 36 chain stitches with hook size 3.5 mm and Paris; form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch on the round. Work the next round as follows: Work 2 chain stitches, 1 half treble crochet in each chain stitch on the ring and finish with 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch at the beginning of the round = 36 half treble crochets. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION! Then work according to diagram A.1- read PATTERN in explanations above, until the piece measures 12 cm. Cut and fasten the strand.

ASSEMBLY:
Sew the bottom of the bag together. Fasten a TWISTED CORD at the top of the bag – read description above.

Diagram

= 1 half treble crochet
= 1 chain stitch - if you usually work at the tip of the hook the chain stitch might be too tight. 1 chain stitch should be the same length as 1 double crochet in width.
= 1 slip stitch in the 2nd chain stitch at the beginning of the round
= this round has already been worked; it shows how the next round is worked into the stitches.

Tolle Idee! Geht schnell und ist was persönliches. Man kann eine Farbe auswählen - je nachdem. ob es für einen Mann oder eine Frau ist. Und es ist origineller und günstiger als das gekaufte Zeugs ...
