Work until 2 stitches remain before marker, knit the next 2 stitches together (= 1 stitch decreased). Repeat at each of the other markers.

Worked in the round on circular needle until rib is done. Then work in the round on double pointed needles.

Cast on 64-68-72 stitches on circular needle size 7 mm with Eskimo. Purl 1 round. Then work rib (= knit 2/purl 2) for 14 cm. Knit 1 round while at the same time decreasing 10-12-14 stitches evenly = 54-56-58 stitches. Switch to double pointed needles size 8 mm. Then work in stocking stitch in the round for 11-13-15 cm (piece measures 25-27-29 cm in total from cast-on edge. Now insert 8 markers in the piece as follows: Insert first marker at the beginning of round, insert next marker after 6-7-8 stitches, insert the next 6 marker after 7 stitches in all sizes, 6-7-8 stitches now remain on round between last marker and first marker on round. On next round, decrease 1 stitch before every marker – read DECREASE TIP! Decrease like this every 4th round 3 times in total = 30-32-34 stitches. On next round work all stitches together 2 by 2 = 15-16-17 stitches. Work last round as follows: Knit stitches together 2 by 2 until 1-0-1 stitch remains on round, knit 1-0-1 stitch = 8-8-9 stitches. Cut the yarn and pull it through the remaining stitches, tighten together and fasten. Hat measures approx. 34-36-38 cm. Fold rib at the bottom so that fold is approx. 9 cm. Hat measures approx. 25-27-29 cm.

Hei, miten joustinneuleen jälkeen voidaan kaventaa tasavälein 12 silmukkaa (68 aluksi)? Kuinka monta oikeaa neulotaan aina kavennusten välissä?

DROPS Design 14.11.2018 kl. 17:33:
