Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in British English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from cm to inches - click here. PICOT:
2 ch, 1 sl st in 2nd ch from hook.

FLOWER:
Worked in the round. Work 5 ch on hook size 3 mm with light beige and Glitter and form a ring with 1 sl st in first ch.
ROUND 1: 1 ch, * 1 dc in ch-ring, 4 ch *, repeat from *-* a total of 6 times, finish with 1 sl st in first ch = 6 dc and 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 2: Switch colour to red. Work 1 ch, 2 dc in every dc on round and finish with 1 sl st in first ch = 12 dc. REMEMBER THE CROCHET TENSION!
ROUND 3: 1 ch, * 1 dc in first dc, 2 dc in next dc *, repeat from *-* 6 times in total, finish with 1 sl st in first ch = 18 dc.
ROUND 4: 1 ch, * 1 dc in first dc, 4 ch, skip 2 dc *, repeat from *-* 6 times in total, finish with 1 sl st in first ch = 6 ch-spaces.
ROUND 5: 1 ch, * 6 dtr in ch-space, 1 PICOT – see explanation above, 6 dtr in same ch-space, 1 sl st in same ch-space, 1 ch *, repeat from *-* 5 times in total, in last ch-space work as follows: 6 dtr in ch-space, 1 PICOT – see explanation above, 6 dtr in ch-space, 1 sl st in ch-space, finish with 1 sl st in first ch = 6 leaves.
Fasten off.

TIES:
Cut 2 strand of 2.5 meters (or desired length) with red or light beige. Twine the strands tog until they resist, fold the string double so that it twines again. Make a knot at each end. Thread tie up and down through the flower.

Bonjour jaimerais faire ceci mais je débute en cochet et je confond souvent les doubles brides et les demi brides surtou avec leur abreviatiion!! Par ex DB et Db? Mm si je regarde les lexiques jai du mal!! Merci pr votre aide!!bne fin dapremidi! JL!!:-*!
