See diagrams M.1 to M.6. The entire pattern is worked in stockinette st.
Row 1 (= RS): Work row until 9 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece.
Row 2 (= WS): Work row until 9 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece.
Row 3 (= RS): Work row until 8 sts remain, slip next st as if to K, K1, psso, turn piece.
Row 4 (= WS): Work row until 8 sts remain, slip next st as if to P, P1, psso, turn piece.
Continue dec like this with 1 less st before each dec until there are 15-15-15 sts on needle.

Worked in the round. Cast on 66-66-72 sts on double pointed needles size 3 mm / US 2or3 with Fabel. K 1 round, then work 4 rounds rib K1/P1. Continue in M.1 on all sts. After M.1 work M.2, AT THE SAME TIME adjust no of sts to 72 sts for all sizes on first round. After M.2 work M.3, AT THE SAME TIME adjust no of sts to 66-72-72 sts on first round.
After M.3 work 1 round with Delight on all sts. Continue as follows: M.4A (= 3 sts), M.4B (= 25-31-31 sts), M.4C (= 3 sts), M.5 (= 35 sts).
NOTE! on round 8 and round 16 dec 1 st each side of M.5 as shown in diagram = 62-68-68 sts. After 1 vertical repeat of M.5 like this slip 31-37-37 sts (= M.4A, B and C) on a stitch holder = 31 sts left on needle for heel.
Work M.6 on heel sts for 5-5.5-6 cm / 2''-2¼''-2 3/8'', insert a marker, and now dec for heel - see HEEL DECREASES.
After heel dec pick up 12-13-14 sts each side of heel and slip the 31-37-37 sts from stitch holder back on needle = 70-78-80 sts. Continue in M.4 as before on the 31-37-37 sts on upper foot, and in M.6 on sts under foot. AT THE SAME TIME dec each side of M.4 (sts on upper foot). K tog the 2 sts before M.4A and K tog into back of loop the 2 sts after M.4C, repeat the dec on every other round a total of 6 times = 58-66-68 sts. Continue in pattern M.4 and M.6 until piece measures 17-18-21 cm / 6 3/4"-7"-8 1/4" from marker on heel (= 5-6-6 cm / 2"-2 3/8"-2 3/8" remain). Continue as follows: M.4A, M.6 on the next 25-31-31 sts, M.4C, M.6 on the next 27-29-31 sts. AT THE SAME TIME dec for toes each side of M.4A/C. Dec as follows before M.4A/C: K tog the last 2 sts. Dec as follows after M.4A/C: slip 1 st as if to K, K1, psso. Dec on every other round a total of 6-9-9 times and then on every round a total of 4-1-1 times = 18-26-28 sts. K2 tog across next round = 9-13-14 sts. Cut the thread and pull it through remaining sts, tighten tog and fasten.
