Hej med jer. Der er noget som jeg ikke forstår. Jeg er i gang med str. M. Jeg har masker på og når jeg skal lave M2,2 vr 3 gange, så forstår jeg det som om jeg skal lave hele M2 diagrammet hvor jeg derefter laver 2 vr, dette gentager jeg 3 gange. Det ender så med at der ikke er nok masker til at lave sidste omgang med M2,2vr?

Hei Ann-Sofie. I str M har du 154 masker og når du starter med mønstret skal du strikke: M.2+2 vrangmasker + M.2+2 vrangmasker + M.2+2 vrangmasker (=18 masker). Så strikkes M.2 (=4 masker), deretter strikkes M.3+M.2+ M.3+M.2 (= 54 masker). Så strikkes M.1 (=24 masker) og så strikkes M.2+M.3+ M.2+M.3+M.2+M.3 (=54 masker). Da blir det: 18 + 4 +54 + 24 + 54 = 154 masker. God Fornøyelse!

Hei Ida. Du har nok bare hoppet over noen diagram. Du skal strikke M.2 + 2 vr, M.2 + 3 vr, M.3 + M.2 + M.1 + M.2 + M.3 + 3 vr = 76 masker, samme som: 4+2+4+3+14+4+24+4+14+3=76 masker. God Fornøyelse!

Dear Mrs Cicconetti, right, when you cast off at the beg of a RS row, you then work the WS row, and will cast off at the beg of the next RS row. When you will cast off at the beg of the WS row you will work the RS row then cast off at the beg of next WS row. Happy knitting!

Dear Malia, "every other" means every second, in other words, in this case you bind of stitches on one row, then do nothing the next one, then bind off again the next row, etc. Happy Knitting!

Hi Malia, After you bind off the 20 stitches under the tummy, you have 92 stitches left in your size. The binding off after that, as you say, is a total of 42 stitches, which leaves you with 50 stitches on the needle. Happy knitting!

The piece measures approx. 30. Can someone explain this next part in more detail? I can't get the same final stitch count even using the calculator so I'm misunderstanding something.

Dear Mrs Cicconetti, you will now continue back and forth (in rows) and cast off at the beginning of each row on each side (= this means both from RS and from WS): 3 sts 1 time (= cast off 3 sts at the beg of next 2 rows), 2 sts 3 times (= cast off 2 sts at the beg of next 6 rows), 1 st 3 times (= cast off 1 st at the beg of next 6 rows) and so on. Why are Drops patterns always written so confusing? Who writes them? I know of several ways to write them in a simple form. I love the designs but the written patterns( as I read the comments, many agree) are very confusing. And your videos dont always help. Theres has to be a better way to write your patterns.

Dear Monica, we are sorry, you don't like the way the patterns are written. Probably the reason is that there is a basic difference between the European and the English/ American pattern writing systems. Granted, the first time they might require extra attention, but once you get hang of the way they work, they will make sense, and you will see, that - for example- they would be easier to modify. Also don't forget that if you get stuck, you can always ask for help either here, or in our FB group - DROPS Workshop- or in person, in the store youu bought your DROPS yarn from. Happy knitting!

Mallineule: Katso ruutupiirrokset M.1-M.3. Piirrokset näyttävät mallineuletta oikealta puolelta katsottuna. Joustinneule: * 2 o, 2 n *, toista *-*. Pusero: Vaate neulotaan suljettuna neuleena puikolla kauluksesta alaspäin. Luo sukkapuikoille nro 3 vaaleanharmaalla langalla 60-80-100 s. Neulo 8-10-12 cm joustinta (= kaulus joka taitetaan kaksinkerroin). Vaihda lyhyeen pyöröpuikkoon nro 4 (pienimmässä koossa sukkapuikkoihin). Neulo 1 krs oikein ja lisää samalla tasavälein 16-32-54 s = 76-112-154 s. Jatka neulomalla mallineuletta näin: Koko XS: M.2, 2 n, M.2, 3 n, M.3, M.2, M.1 (= keskellä selän päällä), M.2, M.3 ja 3 n. Koko S: * M.2, 2 n *, toista *-* 2 kertaa, M.2, * M.3, M.2 *, toista *-* 2 kertaa, M.1 (= keskellä selän päällä), * M.2, M.3 *, toista *-* 2 kertaa. Koko M: * M.2, 2 n *, toista *-* 3 kertaa, M.2, * M.3, M.2 *, toista *-* 3 kertaa, M.1 (= keskellä selän päällä), * M.2, M.3 *, toista *-* 3 kertaa. Samanaikaisesti kun työn korkeus on 12-16-20 cm (luomisreunasta mitattuna), jaa työ koiran etujalkoja varten näin: siirrä 10-16-22 s apulangalle (= mahan alla), päätä 1 nurja s, jatka sitten neulomista selän jäljellä olevilla s:illa ja päätä toisen sivun viimeinen nurja s = 64-94-130 s (= selkäkappale). Jatka mallineuletta edestakaisin näillä s:illa vielä 6-8-10 cm (työn korkeus on yht. 18-24-30 cm). Siirrä s:t apulangalle ja siirrä mahan alla olevan apulangan s:t takaisin puikolle. Luo näiden s:iden kummallekin puolelle 1 uusi s = 12-18-24 s. Jatka mallineuletta edestakaisin puikolla 1:llä nurjalla s:lla kummassakin reunassa. Kun olet neulonut 6-8-10 cm, siirrä kaikki s:t takaisin samalle puikolle = 76-112-154 s. Kun työn korkeus on yht. 24-31-38 cm, päätä 12-20-28 s keskeltä mahan alta. Jatka neulomista edestakaisin puikolla ja päätä samalla kummassakin reunassa joka 2. krs: 1 x 3 s, 2-3-4 x 2 s, 2-3-4 x 1 s, 2-3-4 x 2 s ja 1 x 3 s = 32-50-74 s jäljellä puikolla. Työn korkeus on nyt n. 30-39-48 cm. Viimeistely: Siirrä jäljellä olevat s:t lyhyelle pyöröpuikolle nro 3 ja poimi lisäksi s:ita päätösreunasta siten, että puikolla on yht. n. 84-108-140 s. Neulo 2-3-4 cm joustinta. Päätä s:t löyhästi. Lahje: Poimi toisen jalan reiän reunoista sukkapuikoille nro 3 n. 36-44-52 s. Neulo 2-3-4 cm joustinta. Päätä s:t löyhästi joustinta neuloen. Neulo toinen lahje samalla tavalla. |
