How to crochet the large Christmas star in DROPS Extra 0-1205

In this DROPS video we show how to crochet the large star in DROPS Extra 0-1205.

These stars are made in DROPS Cotton Light, but in the video we crochet with a thicker yarn, DROPS Snow.

Can you please let me know if your patterns are written in UK terms or in US terms as i have tried to do some of your wonderful patterns but they are not working out for me . i do see on your sight that you have UK english does this mean UK terms when it comes to doing the pattern . i don't want to give up on your wonderful patterns as i would really like to work them out and do them .
