How to knit 5 stitches twisted together (decrease)

In this DROPS video we show how to decrease by knitting 5 stitches twisted together.

K 5 twisted tog as follows: K 5, pass next to last st worked over the last so that this st is around the last st, repeat until all 4 sts have been passed over (= 4 sts dec).

Witaj Renato, taki zabieg zwykle jest wykonywany w specyficznych ściegach, np. ażurowy, wzór fal, itd. Wtedy ta dziurka staje się częścią motywu. Jeśli jednak jest to inny przypadek, spróbuj mocniej zaciskać te oczka podczas przerabiania, albo wyrównać później dziurkę za pomocą igły/drutu lekko naciągając nitki, a tym samym je wyrównując. Pozdrawiamy!

DROPS Design :

Dear Mrs Du Plessis, correct, the first row of A.1 is worked over 17 sts + 4 yarn overs = 21 sts that will be worked on 2nd row with : P2, K17, P2, then on 3rd row work the lace pattern: P2, P5 tog, (yo, K1)x7, YO, K5 twisted tog, P2 (you decrease 4 sts twice and make 8 yarn overs = the number of sts is still 21 sts). After A.1 is done, start A.2 and repeat A.2 in height. A.1 will be worked only one time. Happy knitting!

Dag Karien,

In de video wordt uitgelegd hoe je 5 steken gedraaid samen breit. Je kunt daarna gewoon verder breien. Er hoeft niets terug gezet te worden op de linker naald. Het kan zijn dat het in het patroon anders beschreven staat, maar deze video laat alleen zien hoe je 5 steken gedraaid samen breit.

Bij deze video moeten de 5 steken na het breien eerst terug worden gezet op de linker naald. Daarna de 2e steek op de linker naald over de 1ste steek. Dit nog 3x herhalen. Dan de laatst gebreide steek terugzetten op de rechter naald.
