How to knit a zigzag pattern

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a zigzag pattern, which is used in several of our designs.

In this video we cast on 40 sts and K2 rows. Continue as follows:
Row 1: knit this row with dec as a start off for the zigzag pattern; in the center of each repeat dec by slip 1 st as if to K, K 1, psso and then K2 tog as shown in the chart on the pattern.
Row 2 (WS): P all sts
Row 3 (RS): dec as on row 1, in addition inc 1 st each side of each pattern repeat by K2 in 1 st.
Repeat row 2 and 3.

Bonjour Madame Cesari, le choix peut être différent en fonction de la hauteur des différentes rayures, si elles sont rapprochées, on peut faire suivre le fil, sinon mieux vaut sans doute le couper. Bon tricot !

In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.1 and A.2 to the Good Night Baby blanket in DROPS Baby 33-4. We work 2 rapports after the charts and we have already casted up 42 stitches + 3 edge stiches in each side (= 48 stitches). This blanket is worked in DROPS Baby Merino, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly.
