In this DROPS video we show how you can work garter stitch back and forth on the needle using the continental method.

When working garter stitch back and forth on needle you knit the stitches on every row. When working garter in the round on a circular needle or sock needles you will have to knit one round, then purl one round, and then repeat these two rounds alternating.

Note! When working in garter st your gauge i.e number of rows in height, will increase compared to working in stockinette.

Bonjour, pour limiter la démarcation quand on tricote du point mousse en rond, on peut resserrer légèrement le fil à la fin des tours envers pour tenter d'aligner la ligne des mailles envers de la fin du tour avec celle du début du tour. Bon tricot!

Hei Trude. Rillestrikk ser likt ut på retten og på vrangen. I en oppskrift vil det gjerne stå at f.eks 1.pinne/1. omgang strikkes fra retten. Men se i oppskriften du strikker etter om det står noe mer spesifisert. mvh DROPS Design

Witaj Leno, na tym filmie przerabiamy ściegiem francuskim w tę i z powrotem, czyli przerabiamy na prawo w każdym rzędzie. W opisie jest również wzmianka, jak przerabia się ścieg francuski w robótce na okrągło (czyli 1 okrążenie na prawo, kolejne na lewo itd.), ale nie pokazujemy tego na filmie. Pozdrawiamy!

Tere Mari Aun! Ripskoel on on ühel pool tööd näha kordamööda rida parempidi, rida pahempidi jne. St edasi-tagasi kootakse ripskude, koguaeg tehes parempidi silmuseid mõlemal pool tööd. Töö pahemal pool parempidi silmuseid tehes jääb näha teisel pool (töö paremal pool) pahempidi rida. Ringselt kududes tuleb teha natuke teistmood, kududes kordamööda ring parempidi, ring pahempidi. Head kudumist!

Hei Charlotte Strikk en prøvelapp og øke på de forskjellige måtene under og velg den måten du syns blir penest. 1) Øke ved å strikke 2 masker i 1 maske. 2) Løft opp tråden mellom 2 masker med venstre pinne i den forreste del av masken og strikk 1 maske i den bakerste maskebuen av denne nye masken. 3) Øke med løkke. 4) Øke med kast. Hei Marie-Louise. På denne genseren er det en 14 cm splitt nederst i hver side. For at ikke kanten på splitten skal rulle, strikkes det derfor 4 masker rett, både fra retten og fra vrangen (dette kalles for RÄTSTICKNING). Du vil da fra retten få 4 masker rett, så starter vrangborden (som er 2 rett og 2 vrang) og for at vrangborden skal bli lik i begge sider så avsluttes vrangborden med 2 masker rett, og så avslutter du raden med 4 masker rett (RÄTSTICKNING). Fra vrangen blir det da 4 masker rätstickning + 2 vrang + 2 rett (vrangbord) til det gjenstår 6 masker, så 2 masker vrang og 4 masker rätstickning . mvh DROPS Design

Liebe Aline, wenn man in Krausrippen in Runden strickt, wird man abwechslungsweise 1 Runde rechte Maschen, 1 Runde linke Maschen (siehe Video - vielleicht haben Sie 2 Runden mit rechten Maschen nacheinander gestrickt?

Dag Patricia,

Omdat je je vraag bij een video hebt geplaatst, kan ik helaas niet zien hoe het patroon in elkaar zit en wat de oorzaak er van kan zijn dat aan de ene kant de gaatjes wel goed zichtbaar zijn en aan de andere kant niet. Wat ik mij kan bedenken is dat je aan één kant een omslag maakt tussen een rechte en een averechte steek, waardoor de omslag automatisch wat korter/kleiner wordt. Het beste is om even je vraag bij het patroon zelf te zetten, dan kunnen we je wellicht beter helpen.

Hei Meilinda. I en oppskrift vil det stå forklaring på hvordan en RILLE (på norsk) / RETSTRIK(på dansk) skal strikkes. Om det strikkes rundt er det som oftes forklart slik: RETSTRIK: STRIK 1 OMGANG RET OG 1 OMGANG VRANG. Om det strikkes frem og tilbake er det som oftes forklart slik: RETSTRIK: STRIK RET PÅ HVER PINDE. mvh DROPS Design
