How to knit a cable over 4 sts without a cable needle
Cable turning right: yarn in front of work, slip 2 sts onto right needle, yarn to back of work, K2, from behind pick up the 2 slipped sts on left needle, drop the first 2 sts on right needle + 2 slipped sts and then put the first two sts back on right needle again, yarn to back of work and K2.
Cable turning left: slip 2 sts, K2, from front pick up the 2 slipped sts on left needle, drop the first 2 sts on right needle + 2 slipped sts and then put the first two sts back on right needle again, K2.

I can’t understand how to work the neck in the pattern. I’m using 4 ply merino wool. How do I shape the neck and many stitches should I have for the neck front back and sleeves ?

Please could you tell which I make the 2 sts either side of to start the thumb guesset ? Is the maker between the finish and the start of the round? Or The marker placed between the 1st two pirl stitches of the rib row at the start? Hope that makes sense. Many thanks Jayne

Bonjour Marie Line, dans la vidéo (et en général), on croise les mailles sur un rang sur l'endroit, on glisse les mailles end sur une aiguille circulaire devant ou derrière l'ouvrage et on tricote les mailles suivantes, puis on tricote celles de l'aiguille auxiliaire. Bon tricot!

Un grd merci à l'ingénieux cerveau qui a trouvé cette tecnique. Quel gain de temps et quel confort!! je pense qu'on peut aussi l'utilisé avec une torsade 6 mailles, mais au-delà, cela devient complexe à gérer.
