Jak na volné uzavření chytového vzoru

V této video-ukázce DROPS si ukážeme, jak uzavřít chytový vzor, u kterého nahození uzavíráme jako samostatná oka (tj. 1 oko + 1 oko + 1 nahození uzavřeme jako 3 oka). Uzavření chytového patentu

Při uzavírání chytového patentu pokračujeme v pletení tímto vzorem - uzavřený okraj tak zůstane pěkně pružný. Oka uzavíráme, jak se jeví - hladká hladce, obrácená obrace (první a poslední oko v naší ukázce pleteme jako krajové vroubkovým vzorem a uzavíráme je tedy hladce). Oko, které bychom měli ve vzoru sejmout, uzavíráme obrace, následující oko spleteme hladce s nahozením, pak je uzavřeme tak, že na pravé jehlici přetáhneme 1. oko přes druhé; takto pokračujeme - viz videoukázka. Model pletený tímto vzorem najdete např. pod číslem DROPS 133-12 nebo si můžete vybrat z náhledů vlevo.

How to increase in English rib

In this DROPS video show how to increase with yarn overs in each side of piece knitted in English Rib. The yarn over is worked into the pattern, and you will get an additional "rib stripe" in each side first after increasing 2 sts each side. In our video we inc on row 1 and on 2nd row we show how to knit yo twisted (in back loop). On 5th row we inc again and on 6th row we knit yo twisted and also knit new sts into rib pattern. Finally you will see 2 new "rib stripes"in each side, which are 4 sts increased each side. You must read the pattern to be able to follow. How to increase in English rib by making several stitches in 1 stitch

In this DROPS video we show how to work the increase in English rib by making several stitches in 1 stitch, and how to work the next round. This technique is used in the jumper in DROPS 194-13. NB! Even if our sample is worked back and forth, all rows have been worked from RS. On 1st round in the video, we knit a little bit of the 3. Round explanation of the English rib, both before and after the increase. Increase like this: Work 5 stitches in the stitch and the yarn over as follows: * Knit the yarn over and stitch together, but wait with slipping the stitch and yarn over off the needle, make 1 yarn over the right needle *, knit from * - * a total of 2 times and knit the stitch and yarn over 1 more time = 5 stitches (= 4 stitches increased). On next round (= 2nd round of explanation of English rib), the increased works into the English rib pattern. There is no yarn over in the increase, so the stitch that is to be worked with the yarn over is knit without yarn over. Next round work as 3rd round of English rib. How to increase 4 stitches in Fisherman`s rib

In this DROPS video we show how we work 5 stitches in a Fisherman`s rib stitch (= knit in the stitch under the next stitch and increase 4 stitches). We show it twice in the video and work like this: Knit 1, but do not slip the stitch from the needle, * make 1 yarn over the right needle, knit the same stitch without slipping it off the left needle *, work from *-* a total of 2 times, then slip the stitch off the left needle = 5 stitches (4 stitches increased). How to knit in stitch below and how to increase 4 stitches in 1 stitch

In this DROPS video we show how to knit 1 stitch below next stitch and how to increase 4 stitches in 1 stitch. These charts are taken from DROPS 201-40, but the same technique is used in many other patterns. We start the video by showing how we work chart A.1 and then especially how we knit 1 stitch below next stitch and name it an English rib stitch. We show 1st round of A.1 4 times. On 2nd round of diagram purl all sts. When we work A.2 we show how to knit 5 stitches in the English rib stitch as follows: Knit 1, but wait to slip the stitch off the needle, * make 1 yarn over on right needle, knit same stitch without slipping the stitch off left needle *, work from *-* 2 times in total, then drop this stitch off left needle = 5 stitches (i.e. 4 stitches increased). Then we show how chart A.3 is worked. We use the yarn DROPS Snow in the video. This yarn is quite thick, but if you knit with a thinner yarn the increase in the English rib stitch will be better. V této video-ukázce DROPS si ukážeme, jak ve dvoubarevném chytovém patentu rozplést nahození a 1 oko na 5 ok. = nahozené oko spleteme s hladkým okem hladce, ale zatím je nespouštíme z jehlice, *1x nahodíme na pravou jehlici, nahození spleteme s hladkým okem hladce, ale nespouštíme je z jehlice*, *-* opakujeme celkem 2x = 5 ok (tj. přidáme 4 oka). In this DROPS video we show how to increase in false fisherman rib and how to work after the increase, as used in the jumper in DROPS 197-2 and in the skirt in DROPS 196-37. We start by working 7 false fisherman rib stitches before we increase like this: Knit yarn over and knit stitch together but wait to slip the yarn over and worked stitch off the needle * make 1 yarn over on right needle and knit 1 more stitch in the stitch and yarn over worked*, work from *-* a total 2 times = 5 stitches (= 4 stitches increased). In this DROPS video we show how to decrease 2 stitches in false English rib. First we show a decrease that faces to the left, then to the right. These decreases are used in the jumper in DROPS 194-22. To the left: = slip the knit stitch and the yarn over on to right needle as if to knit. In this DROPS video we show how to decrease 2 stitches towards left and how to decrease 2 stitches towards right. In this DROPS video we show how to decrease 4 stitches with 2-colour in English rib. Decrease 4 stitches as follows: slip the first stitch and yarn over onto the right needle as if to knit together, slip the purled stitch onto the right needle as if to purl, place the next stitch and yarn over on an extra needle in front of the piece, purl the next stitch on the left needle, pass the slipped purled stitch over the purled stitch just worked, place this stitch back on the left needle, pass the next stitch and yarn-over over the stitch you placed back on the left needle and slip this stitch onto the right needle, pass the first stitch and yarn-over over this stitch, place the stitch and yarn over from the extra needle back onto the left needle, slip the stitch on the right needle back onto the left needle, pass the stitch and yarn over (which were on the extra needle) over the last stitch placed on the left needle and slip the remaining stitch onto the right needle (= 4 stitches decreased). In this DROPS video we show how to decrease 2 stitches towards left and 2 stitches towards right with 2-coloured English rib from. Decrease towards the left: Purl 2 together (yarn over and purled stitch + knit 1), slip the next yarn-over and purled stitch onto right needle, place them back on left needle so the stitch is outermost (and yarn over no. 2), place purled-together stitches back on left needle, keep strand at front of piece, pass stitch and yarn over onto left needle (i.e. second and third stitch on left needle) over the stitch which was placed back on left needle (with strand in front of piece). V této video-ukázce DROPS vám ukážeme, jak při pletení v řadách ujímáme z rubové strany 2 oka směrem doleva a 2 oka směrem doprava ve dvoubarevném chytovém patentu. Ujímání doleva: Sejmeme 1. nahozené a 1 obrácené oko na pravou jehlici jako bychom je chtěli splést hladce, následující 2 oka spleteme hladce (tj. 1 obrácené oko + oko s nahozením), sejmuté oko s nahozením přes 2 spletená oka přetáhneme (= ujmuli jsme 2 oka). Ujímání doprava: Sejmeme 1. oko a nahození na pravou jehlici, jako bychom je chtěli splést hladce, upleteme 1 obrace, nahození a sejmuté oko přes ně přetáhneme. Oko vrátíme na levou jehlici, další oko s nahozením přes ně přetáhneme. Pak sejmeme i zbývající oko zpět na pravou jehlici (= ujmuli jsme 2 oka). „Wrong side“ v ukázce = rubová strana. In this DROPS video we show how we decrease 2 stitches towards left, 2 stitches towards right and how do decrease 4 stitches together. These techniques are used in the Lacey Laurel shawl in DROPS 203-14. We have already worked 30 rows of a chart with 2 stitches in garter st in each side and show 1st row in this video how we decrease 2 stitches towards the left as follows: Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, knit the next 2 stitches together and pass the slipped stitch over the knitted together stitches (= 2 stitches decreased). Then knit 1, knit 1 in stitch under the next stitch. 1 knit. Then we show how to decrease 2 stitches towards the right as follows: Knit 3 stitches together (= 2 stitches decreased). On row 35 we decrease 4 stitches as follows: Slip 3 stitches as if to knit them together, knit the next 2 stitches together and pass the 3 slipped stitches over the knitted together stitches (= 4 stitches decreased). Under the pattern DROPS 203-14 you can read how to work the other chart icons. This shawl is knitted in DROPS Alpaca, but in the video we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. How to pick up a dropped stitch in English rib in two colours.

It's always frustrating to drop a stitch in your work. In this DROPS video we show you how to pick up a stitch knitted in English rib with two colours. Use a crochet hook, * insert the hook into the stitch with colour -1, "skip" 1 thread in colour -2 and insert the hook under the 2 next threads with colour -2. Pick up the thread with colour -1 and pull it under the 2 colour -2 threads and through the stitch on the hook * (= 1 stitch fixed). Repeat * - * to the top, pick up the last colour -2 thread and placed it on the left needle (= 1 yarn over). We use the yarn DROPS Snow in this video.

How to increase and mark the increase stitches with stitch markers in English rib

In this DROPS video we show how to increase and mark the increase stitches with different colors, the same way we do in the «Cheers to Lift» jumper in DROPS 212-28. INCREASE AS FOLLOWS IN THE STITCHES WITH PURPLE MARKERS: Work 3 stitches in the stitch and yarn over and move the marker as follows: Knit together the yarn over and stitch, move the purple marker to this stitch (i.e. stitch on right needle), but do not slip the stitch and yarn-over off the left needle, make 1 yarn over the right needle and knit together the stitch and yarn over 1 more time = 3 stitches (= 2 stitches increased). The marker sits in the first increased stitch (= knitted stitch). The next time you increase, work in the stitch with the marker. INCREASE AS FOLLOWS IN THE STITCHES WITH GREEN MARKERS: Work 3 stitches in the stitch and yarn over and move the marker as follows: Knit together the yarn over and stitch, but do not slip the stitch and yarn-over off the left needle, make 1 yarn over the right needle and knit together the stitch and yarn over 1 more time and move the green marker to this stitch = 3 stitches (= 2 stitches increased). The marker sits in the last increased stitch (= knitted stitch). The next time you increase, work in the stitch with the marker. On the next round work the 3 stitches into the English rib pattern as follows: Make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch as if to purl, purl the yarn over, make 1 yarn over, slip 1 stitch as if to purl. This jumper is worked in DROPS Brushed Alpaca Silk and DROPS Glitter, but in the video we use DROPS Snow. You must read a pattern with this description to be able to follow this video properly.
