This blanket are crocheted in DROPS ♥ You #8, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. 1 = 4 chain stitches, form them into a ring with 1 slip stitch in the first chain stitch – see point on circle, the round starts and finishes here. 2 = chain stitch 3 = treble crochet around chain stitch/chain-stitch ring 4 = slip stitch 5 = treble crochet in stitch 6 = 4 DOUBLE TREBLE CROCHETS WORKED TOGETHER AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ROUND: 4 chain stitches (equivalent to 1 double treble crochet), work 2 double treble crochets in the next stitch, but wait with the last yarn over and pull through on both of these double treble crochets, work 1 double treble crochet in the next stitch and pull the last yarn over through all 4 loops on the hook 7 = 5 chain stitches 8 = 4 DOUBLE TREBLE CROCHETS WORKED TOGETHER: work 1 double treble crochet in the next stitch, but wait with the last yarn over and pull through, work 2 double treble crochets in the next stitch, but wait with the last yarn over and pull through on both of these double treble crochets, work 1 double treble crochet in the next stitch and pull the last yarn over through all 5 loops on the hook 9= double crochet around chain-space 10 = double crochet in stitch 11 = work 1 half treble crochet around the top of the double treble crochet group from the 3rd round.
