I am making the Spring Iris sweater #250-39. Are the sleeves worked in the round please? I'm confused because it says to knit back and forth with short rows and then I'm assuming I switch to "in the round". Thank you.

Dear Mrs Freer, we only have diagrams to this pattern, so maybe this lesson can help you to read M.1, then work first in rows: 6 rows garter stitch, then work pattern, seen from RS: 5 sts garter stitch, P1, then repeat (M.1, P3) a total of 2, 3 or 4 times.(see size), then work M.1, P1, M.1, P1, then repeat (M.1, P9) a total of 2,3 or 4 times, finish with M.1 , P1 and 5 sts in garter stitch.

Thank you for your prompt reply. I understand that on the RS I purl the 9 sts and 1 st, and on the wrong side I knit those stitches. What about the P1 after and before the 5 garter stitches? Does the same rule apply? Sorry, for my confusion. Thank you!

Dear Lindy, yes same applies to this P1 from RS, all these stitches are worked in reversed stocking stitch, as well as the new stitches you will increase in the middle of piece (the new stitches are worked in pattern so that you continue with P9, M.1, seen from RS. Happy knitting!

Dear Mrs Davies, from RS work: K5, P1, *M.1, P9*, repeat from *-*, work M.1, P1, M.1, P1, then *M.1, P9*, end with M.1, P1, K5; from WS the P1 and P9 will be knitted and the 2/3 sts in M.1 will be purled. Happy knitting!

Dear Lindy, from RS work row 1 as follows: slip 1 as if to K, K2, pass the slipped stitch over the knitted stitches (- 2 sts remain); from WS work row 2 as follows: P1, YO, P1. On row 3, knit the 3 sts, on row 4, purl the 3 sts. Repeat these 4 rows. Happy knitting!

Buongiorno, potreste cortesemente spiegarmi questo passaggio, perchè non capisco se devo continuare ad aumentare di una maglia ai lati del M1 centrale o no e non capisco questa parte : "STESSO TEMPO per ogni volta che sono state aumentate 12 m a ogni lato della ripetizione centrale di M.1, lavorare * M.1, 9 m rov * una volta in più. Continuare in questo modo fino a quando il lavoro misura 33-35-37 cm ". Cortesemente potreste spiegarmi meglio? Grazie mille e buona giornata.

Buonasera Sara, questo passaggio significa che ogni volta che sono state aumentate 12 maglie si può lavorare la sequenza * M.1, 9 m rov * una volta in più. Buon lavoro!

Dear Mrs Bennison, 1st row in M.1 is worked over 3 sts = 5 garter sts, P1, * M.1 (= 3 sts), P9 *, repeat from *-* (= 12 sts) a total of 2 times (= 24 sts), M.1 (= 3 sts), P1, M.1 (= 3 sts), P1, * M.1 (= 3 sts), P9 *, repeat from *-* (= 12 sts) a total of 2 times (= 24 sts), M.1 (= 3 sts), P1 and 5 garter sts= 5+1+24+3+1+3+1+24+3+1+5= 71 - at the end of the first row you will have decreased 1 stitch in each M.1, you will have 7 sts less at the end of this row = 64 sts remain Then on 2nd row, you make a YO in each M.1 = 71 sts + the stitches you will increase for the poncho. (M.1, 9 m env) x 2-3-4, M.1, 1 m env, M.1, 1 m env, (M.1, 9 m env) x 2-3-4, M.1, 1 m env, 5 m point mousse ? Puisque le diagramme montre le motif sur l'endroit comment se tricotent les 9 m env et 1 m env que l'on retrouve entre chaque M1 sur l'endroit lorsqu'on les tricote sur l'envers de l'ouvrage ? Merci !

Bonjour Mme Lebel, sur l'envers, tricotez les mailles comme elles se présentent (= les m env sur l'endroit se tricotent à l'endroit sur l'envers) et les mailles endroit de M.1 se tricotent à l'envers sur l'envers. Tous les rangs vont se tricoter plus ou moins ainsi: vous augmentez tous les 2 rangs de chaque côté du M.1 au milieu du rang, vous aurez ainsi progressivement 2 m env, puis 3 m env et ainsi de suite de chaque côté du M.1 du milieu (pointe). Ma question concerne le chauffe-épaule Balestrand. Sur le patron, on indique ce qu'il faut faire sur les rangs à l'endroit de l'ouvrage mais on n'indique pas si le rang « envers » du tricot se tricote soit en jersey envers ou soit en point mousse. Pourriez-vous svp me l'indiquer SVP merci

Bonjour Mme Lebel, vous allez tricoter ainsi au début: 5 m point mousse, 1 m env (M.1, 9 m env) x 2-3-4, M.1, 1 m env, M.1, 1 m env, (M.1, 9 m env) x 2-3-4, M.1, 1 m env, 5 m point mousse. Ainsi, chaque motif de M.1 (= à tricoter en jersey end) sera séparé par 1 ou plusieurs mailles envers (= jersey envers). Tous les rangs sont représentés dans le diagramme, ceux sur l'endroit et ceux sur l'envers, soit M.1 = 4 rangs. Bon tricot!

RIPSKUDE (edasi-tagasi kududes): koo kõik read parempidi. KASVATAMISE NIPP Kasvata 1 s mõlemal pool keskosa mustrit M.1, tehes 1 õs. Koo õs tagasireal parempidi. MUSTER Vaata skeemi M.1. Muster on vaadatuna paremalt töö poolelt (PP). --------------------------- PONTŠO Kootakse ülevalt kaela poolt alla, edasi-tagasi kahes osas ja hiljem õmmeldakse osad kokku. Loo üles 71-95-119 s 5,5 mm vardale kahekordse lõngaga (mõlemast sordist 1). Koo 6 rida ripskoes. Jätka järgnevalt töö PP: 5 s ripskoes, 1 ph, * muster M.1 (= 3 s), 9 ph*, korda *-* kokku 2-3-4 korda, siis skeem M.1, 1 ph, M.1, 1 ph, *M.1, 9 ph*, korda *-* kokku 2-3-4 korda, ning lõpetuseks tee skeem M.1, 1 ph ja 5 s ripskoes. Jälgi koetugevust! Jätka mustriga, SAMAL AJAL igal töö PP real kasvata 1 s mõlemal pool keskosa mustrit M.1 – vaata KASVATAMISE NIPPI. Pärast 12 kasvatamist (= 24 rida kokku), koo järgmine rida järgnevalt töö PP: 5 s ripskoes, 1 ph, * skeem M.1, 9 ph*, korda *-* kokku 3-4-5 korda, siis skeem M.1, 1 ph, M.1, 1 ph, *M.1, 9 ph *, korda *-* kokku 3-4-5 korda, ning lõpetuseks skeem M.1, 1 ph ja 5 s ripskoes. Jätka kasvatamisi ja mustrit, SAMAL AJAL, iga kord, kui oled kasvatanud 12 s mõlemal pool skeemi M.1, koo neile silmustele veel kord * M.1, 9 ph*. Jätka, kuni töö pikkus on 33-35-37 cm – mõõtes mõõda koesuunda – ja lõpeta peale tervet mustrikordust. Koo 4 rida ripskoes kõikidel silmustel (jätka kasvatamist) ja siis koo silmused maha. Tee 2 ühtemoodi tükki ja õmble kokku külgedelt mööda välimisi silmuste aasasid. |
