Hvordan læser man måleskitsen!

Hvordan læser man måleskitsen!

Måleskitsen finder du nederst under hver opskrift.

Omkredsen nederst = 54 cm x 2 = 108 cm hele vejen rundt!

Brystvidden = 48 cm x 2 = 96 cm i omkreds over brystet!

Jeg måler 114 over hoften og 104 over brystet..

Hello, I have a question, in the schematic drawing, what is that size "15-16-17" above? And the sleeve, from where it start the measurement, since I read numbers like 73-74-75 etc..? (it looks too long to be a sleeve). Also, together the numbers 15-16-17 near the neck there's again repeated another 15-16-17) . please can you explain? Thank you!

26.10.2021 - 16:12:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Valex, 15-16-17 are the cm for the neck. 73-74-75 are from the shoulder to the end of the sleeve. These are all aproximate measurements. This is just an example, you'd need to look at the measurements in each model, in the diagram below the pattern. You should also try the length of the garnment frequently, to adapt it for your desired length. Happy knitting!

I have purchased DROPS-KARISMA to make the sweater VICTORIA. I cannot decide what size to knit. My favourite sweater measures 40 inches chest, while my actual body measurements are 38 inches bust. Please help me what size? Thank you.

05.10.2021 - 20:48:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Rosemary, 40 inches are approx. 50 cm measured flat, size L is 48 cm and XL 55 cm, choose the size depending on how you prefer it to be somewhat tighter or somewhat looser. Hope this will help, happy knitting!

I am struggling with size to choose for drops 169-11. My hips are 44" Bust 42" waist 43". I originally started XL and added 30 sts as my gauge is 5 sts to inch. When I got the ribbing done it was too large by 3 1/2". I tore it out. Please give me some advise so I can start over.

24.08.2021 - 17:05:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Syrjala, measure a similar garment you have and like the shape and then compare with the measurements in each size to find the right size. But remember this jacket is worked with a tension of 24 sts = 10 cm, if your tension is different, you will have to adjust the whole pattern - read more here. Or maybe find a pattern that fits your tension. Happy knitting!

Y cuáles se rem?

24.08.2021 - 04:24:

DROPS Design answered:

Hi, I would like to make design # 171 - 21. I am having trouble understanding the size diagram, and where the numbers correspond to in regards to body measurements. Please advise as to what corresponds to where. I need to know what size to make in regards to how much yarn I will need to purchase for this project. Kind Regards Di.

16.08.2021 - 13:27:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Diane, in this pattern the top measurements (= 38-42-42) between sleeves apply to back piece, and the left one to the sleeve - the bottom one to the total width of the circle/diameter and the right one (50-57-64 cm) to the radius (from middle of back piece to outer edge on front piece). You will find yarn amount under the header, for ex. 500 g DROPS Big Delight/50 g a ball = 10 balls Big Delight in size S/M. Happy crocheting!

Thanks for your help with the Paddington pattern. I am still unclear whether having done 5 rows M1 and 4 rows M2 the rest of the piece is completed in M2 or I keep alternating M1 / M2 to the required size?

17.05.2021 - 12:24:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Anne, after you have worked the 5 rows in M.1 just work only M.2, ie after the 4 rows in M.2 are worked, start M.2 from 1st row again and repeat these 4 rows. Happy knitting!

Please can you explain what the markings mean on Paddington jacket pattern. What does the X signify? Does it mean 1 stitch knit, 1 stitch purl? When it says "after M1 finish the piece in M2 "does this mean do a total of 4 rows of M1 (whatever that is )then the remainder is all completed in M2 ? Thanks

16.05.2021 - 09:58:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Ann, diagrams are showing the pattern seen from the right side, this means a K stitch seen from RS should be K from RS and P from WS and a P stitch (= x) seen from RS should be P from RS and K from WS. Hope this helps. You work the 5 rows in M.1 then repeat the 4 rows in M.2 (seed stitch) to the finished measurements. Happy knitting!
