In this lesson, we show you how to sew a shoulder seam.
The garment shown in this lesson is the November Breeze jumper (DROPS 236-20), knitted in DROPS Air colour no 10, fog.
We use a contrasting yarn to clearly demonstrate how the shoulder is sewn together.
1) Lay wrong side to wrong side.
2) Insert the needle through the first stitch (2 stitch loops) on the front shoulder piece.
3) Insert the needle through the first stitch (2 stitch loops) on the back shoulder piece.
4) Continue, inserting the needle through 1 stitch on the front piece, then 1 stitch on the back piece, until you have sewn the whole seam.
Once you are done sewing, it will look like this from the outside.
And it will look like this from the inside.
