How can I get help with a DROPS pattern?

Each individual pattern contains a Comments section where you can post questions, get answers in your own language and also read what other knitters have commented on the pattern.

Any corrections made to a pattern after its publication will be displayed at the bottom of the pattern text, in red.

You can also find the corrections to all our patterns under Free Patterns > by Catalogue > Corrections, in the top menu.

For more specific support, you need to contact the store where you bought the yarn.

Dear Stephanie, most DROPS patterns will usually have a measurements schematic after the pattern instructions (below the diagram charts, if there are any), with all relevant measurements for each size; you can see how to read them here: https://www.garnstudio.com/lesson.php?id=24&cid=19. When there is no measurement schematic, the work measurements are usually stated at the top, on the materials section.

Bonjour Mme Le Mesle et désolée pour la réponse tardive, il semble que votre question ait été oubliée... vous commencez chaque rang de A.1 par les mailles en l'air indiquée par A.2, puis vous crochetez des brides croisées (cf vidéo). Tournez, commencez par A.2 et crochetez A.1 (= 2 brides entre chacune des 2 brides croisées du 1er rang) et ainsi de suite. Bon crochet!

Hei Elsa. Du strikker hele jakke som et stykke. Det startes på venstre forstykke, så strikkes det videre mot ermet, deretter strikkes bakstykket, så det andre erme og tilslutt høyre forstykke. Når jakken er ferdig strikket, sys sømmen under ermene kant i kant med små pene sting. Deretter strikkes det opp en halskant. mvh DROPS Design

Dear Teresa, on the round after increases for raglan, work next round as before with established pattern (= continue diagram) and then keep increasing for raglan as explained under RAGLAN increasing a total of 18 times on every other round (= you will have worked a total of 36 rounds). Hei Mathea. Du skriver 233-8, men tipper det er 232-8 du mener. Du skriver ikke hvilken str. du strikker, men ut ifra at du har 60 masker på pinnen strikker du enten str. L eller XL. Når du strikker etter diagram starter du alltid nederst til høyre og der er det 6 masker i A.1. Du skal gjenta A.1 10 ganger, altså 6 masker x 10 ganger = 60 masker. Når du har strikket A.1 1 gang i høyden har du økt med 9 masker pr gang du strikker A.1 og vil da ha 150 masker på pinne. God fornøyelse, mvh DROPS Design

Dear Mrs The required amount of yarn is provided in grams, eg: 450 g. To calculate how many balls you’ll need you first need to know how many grams are in 1 ball (25g, 50g or 100g). This information is available if you click on the individual yarn quality on our pages. Divide the amount required with the amount of each ball. For example, if each ball is 50g (the most common amount), the calculation will be as follows: 450 / 50 = 9 balls and multiply then with the total length of yarn in one ball to get the whole yardage.Happy knitting!

Når du starter å felle (fra retten) strikker du slik: 1 kantmaske i rille + 3 masker glattstrikk = 4 masker er strikket, deretter starter du fellingen og slik: Ta 1 maske løs av pinnen som om den skulle strikkes rett, strikk 1 rett, løft den løse masken over masken som ble strikket (= 1 maske felt). Du har nå 5 masker på høyre pinne og skal strikke glattstrikk til du har 6 masker igjen på venstre pinnen. Fell slik: strikk 2 masker rett sammen, deretter strikker du 3 masker rett, 1 kantmaske rille. mvh DROPS Design

Dear Mrs Watson, after you have slipped the middle 17 sts on a stitch holder for neck, you continue working back and forth starting from one side of the neck to the other side of the neck, ie alternately from RS and WS, casting off at the beginning of each row (both from RS and WS = towards neck) 2 sts 2 times (= 2 sts at the beg of next 4 rows) and 1 st 2 times (1 st at the beg of next 4 rows).
