Videoen viser to måter å legge opp nye masker i siden av arbeidet.

If you need markers to mark the raglan line, you can add - as suggested in first answer below markers before and after each A.1. Happy knitting!

I find pattern confusing, how is raglan stitches marked what does a-1 mean using pattern #208-1

19.11.2019 - 14:03:

DROPS Design answered:

Raglan stitches are worked following diagram A.1 - see previous answer, you will then increase with a yarn over before the first stitch in A.1 and after A.1 (= on either side of the 6 sts from diagram).

Knitting the carly pullover for a man sand there are no markers to put at raglan stitches also finding a -1 confusing. What does it mean and how is it done, no number of stitches between raglan is given, very confusing. Thank you for your help.

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Hitchcock, in this pattern, A.1 is worked for the raglan line, you can add marker before and after each A.1 if you rather like to, so that you then know where you have to increase (= before the marker before A.1 and after the marker after A.1). A.1 is the name of the diagram worked over 6 stitches (= K1, P1, K2, P1, K1) - read more about diagrams here.

Buon lavoro!

Hej Christine, videoen beskriver bara hur man gör. Du måste titta i mönstret för hur många maskor du skall lägga upp.

I'm knitting Drops pattern Autumn Elegance jacket. I'm at the stage where I have to add 10 stitches at both ends of row for 2 rows. can I not just add 20 stitches at the each end of the first row? Not sure how I add new stitches on new stitches

01.02.2018 - 05:23:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Hannan, you are now increasing for sts on back piece, work 1 row from RS, at the end of this row cast on 10 new sts, turn and work next row from WS, at the end of this row cast on 10 new sts, turn (you have now 10 new sts on each side of piece for sleeves). Repeat this 2 rows one more time (= you have inc 10 sts 2 times on each side), then at the end of next 2 rows cast on the number of sts for your size (= 11-10-9-8-6-4). Happy knitting!

This video is attached to the warm Banjo dog vest. I am knitting the vest. The pattern says after you put the 10 stitches from the holder back on, "in addition up two stitches"... does that mean cast on two stitches like in the video? Or am I supposed to pick up two from the back part of the vest?

25.10.2017 - 08:01:

DROPS Design answered:

Dear Mrs Rubin, when you work under piece, slip the sts from st holder back on needle and pick up 2 sts in each side of the under piece, ie you pick up 2 sts behind (= at the back of) the 2 sts in garter st from over piece. Happy knitting!

Hej Super video.
