In this DROPS video we show how to knit a honeycomb pattern using slip stitches.

Cast on an even number of sts. Knit 1st and last stitch on every row and pattern over the rest of the sts like this:
Row 1 (WS): K1,*slip 1 as if to purl with yarn behind work, K1*, repeat *-* across, end with K1.
Row 2 (RS): Knit
Row 3: K1, *K1, slip 1 as if to purl with yarn behind work*, repeat *-* across, end with K1.
Row 4: Knit
Repeat row 1-4.

DROPS :

Nil, every row starts and ends with K1, but 1st row then continues with slip 1, and third row continues with K1, and then slipping the 3rd st on row. So row 1 and 3 is alternating so you K the st that previous was slipped and vice versa.

Bonjour ChrisVebh et merci pour votre commentaire. Le système d'encodage des vidéos n'est effectivement pas compatible avec le système mac, mais rendez-vous sur viméo pour voir les vidéos (le lien vers viméo est sur la page d'accueil). Bon tricot !

In this DROPS video we show how to work a rib with knit 1, purl 1 on circular needle. Working a rib gives an elastic piece that is great for cuffs and edges.
