Jak ujímat špičku u pletené ponožky

V této video-ukázce DROPS si ukážeme, jak u pletené ponožky ujímat špičku. Existuje mnoho postupů ujímání, my si zde ukážeme základní postup. Označíme si značkou boční strany ponožky – značky umístíme tak, že na horní straně (nártu) i na dolní straně (chodidle) máme stejný počet ok. Poté na každé straně obou značek ujmeme 2 oka takto - začínáme na konci 1. jehlice u posledních 3 ok, sejmeme 1 oko hladce, 1 oko upleteme hladce, spleteme 2 oka hladce. Toto ujímání opakujeme na každé straně chodidla a v každé řadě, nebo v každé 2. řadě, až nám zůstane na jehlici 8 ok. Potom přízi odstřihneme, protáhneme zbylými oky a zapošijeme. How to work a sock with a diagonal heel

In this DROPS video we show you how to work a heel with a diagonal line from the heel towards the top of the foot This is achieved by working short rows. 1. First you work short rows across the top of the heel, then across the bottom of the heel, finishing by working in the round across all stitches and working towards the toe. 2. The stitches on the top of the foot are placed on a thread/stitch holder and you only work the heel-stitches. Work until there is 1 stitch left on the row. Turn, slip the first stitch on the left needle onto the right needle, tighten the strand and work back. Work like this back and forth, working 1 less stitch on each row and working to the stated stitch-count. 3. Continue back and forth but now working 1 more stitch on each row across the heel stitches. To avoid holes each time you turn, pick up the horisontal strand before the next stitch and place it twisted on the left needle, then work this together with the next stitch on the left needle. Turn, slip the first stitch on the left needle onto the right needle, tighten the strand and work back. Work like this back and forth until you have worked all the heel-stitches. 4. Place the stitches from the thread/stitch holder back onto the needles. 5. Continue in the round to the given length.

Jak uplést ponožku s klínkem - stručný popis

V této video-ukázce DROPS vám ukážeme, jak uplést ponožku s klínovou patou - pravděpodobně nejpoužívanější způsob pletení paty. Začneme tím, že oka nártu odložíme na pomocnou jehlici, oka pro patu ponecháme na jehlicích a pleteme následujícím způsobem: 1) Nejprve upleteme v řadách oka paty 2) Poté pleteme zkrácenými řadami a ujímáme až do požadované délky 3) Po dokončení pleteme kruhových řadách a na každé straně ponožky nabereme oka podél paty 4) Poté ujímáme na každé straně ponožky a tím vytvoříme drobný klínek - proto tento typ nazýváme klínovou patou.

How to knit a sock with a square heel

In this DROPS video, we show you how to knit a sock with a square heel. The stitches on top of the foot are placed on a thread, while the stitches at the back are kept on the needles and the heel is worked as follows (the heel extends under the foot): 1) The heel is worked back and forth across the heel-stitches to achieve the correct height. For this type of heel, the length reaches midway under the heel. 2) Next, the heel is knitted together beneath the foot. 3) The sock is then continued in the round, with stitches picked up along both sides of the heel length, working towards the toe. 4) This heel creates a square shape, which is why this type of heel is known as a square heel.

How to work a sock with a diamond heel

In this DROPS video we give you a short overview of how to work a sock with a diamond heel. All stitches remain on the needles while knitting the heel. To make the heel, follow these steps: 1. Knit in the round, gradually increasing stitches at the back of the sock until the desired width and length of the heel have been achieved. 2. Decrease the heel stitches while continuing to knit in the round. 3. Continue knitting towards the toe. 4. The combination of increases and decreases forms a diamond-shaped section at the back of the sock, which is why this type of heel is called a diamond heel.

Jak plést patu ponožky (základní, jednoduchý způsob)

V této video-ukázce DROPS se podíváme, jak uplést patu ponožky základním, jednoduchým způsobem. Oka paty upleteme v řadách lícovým žerzejem až do výše asi 5-6 cm. V následující lícové řadě začneme ujímat: pleteme hladce až po příslušný počet ok uvedený v návodu (tento počet ok tedy zůstane neupletený na levé jehlici), pak 2 oka spleteme hladce dohromady za zadní nit a práci otočíme. Pleteme rubovou řadu až po příslušný počet ok uvedený v návodu, pak 2 oka spleteme obrace dohromady a práci otočíme. Takto pokračujeme v řadách - na levé jehlici nám zůstane vždy o 1 oko méně (než spleteme 2 oka dohromady). Po dokončení tvarování paty, tj. po dokončení ujímání, nabereme na každé straně paty tolik ok, kolik uvádí návod, a dál pleteme lícovým žerzejem v opět v kruhových řadách nad všemi oky. How to knit with 2 threads to get a stronger heel - knitting tip

In this DROPS video we show how to get a stronger heel on a sock by knitting with 2 threads. Use strand inside and outside of ball (or use 2 balls) and work 1 stitch alternately with one and the other strand. This way you get a thicker heel without working with double strand. In the video, we already have knitted the rib and put the stitches mid on top of foot on a stitch holder and we show 2 rows where we knit with 2 strands. These socks are knitted in DROPS Karisma, but in video we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow. You must read the pattern to be able to follow this video properly. Jak uplést klínovou patu

V této video-ukázce DROPS si ukážeme, jak u ponožky uplést klínovou patu. Již jsme si upletli začátek ponožky a naši ukázku začínáme odstřižením příze a rozdělením ok na patu a nárt. Klínovou patu upleteme s přidáváním a ujímáním ok dle návodu, podle kterého pleteme. V naší ukázce pleteme přízí DROPS Snow.
