How to knit 3 variants of the same simple lace pattern

In this DROPS video we show three variants of the same simple lace pattern, but knitted in different ways, so the holes pulls to the right, or left, or go zigzag.

Our lace patterns in this video is knitted over 10 stitches where 1 st each side is an edge st knitted in garter st (K on each row).

The row with pattern is knitted from RS, and you purl all sts on row back on WS. If you want the holes to pull diagonally up to the right start with (K1 edge st each side): K2 tog, 1 YO, repeat across.
If the holes should go diagonally up to the left, work like this (K1 edge st each side): 1 YO, slip 1 st as if to K, K1 and psso, repeat across.
If the holes should go zigzag work alternately these two explanations from RS and purl back.
Remember that for every dec there must be a yarn over, so you keep a consistent number of stitches on the needle after each row.
