I don’t think my original question was clear. If all my yo increases were knit, then instructions for next row say continue in stockinette stitch — do I need to work yo as twisted— purl through back loop to hide holes? (Instructions for increase says knit but ws should be purl to maintain stockinette..)

Dear Christina, in stocking stitch, you will purl all stitches. So you will purl twisted the yarn overs (in the INCREASE TIP, it says: "work the yarn overs twisted"). You can see a video on how to work them here: https://www.garnstudio.com/video.php?id=33&lang=en. Happy knitting!
23.06.2024 - 18:31I’m knitting design 248-32 Sand Notes Cardigan and I’ve just begun the yoke. I increased stitches evenly which gave me 2.7 (I was correcting a stitch count so more st than pattern states). I increased alternately 3 st yo, then 2 st yo and gave 161 st (for size M). When I start stockinette for next row, I’m supposed to knit yo twisted — but to keep stockinette some at are purl. How do I twist purl stitch?

21.06.2024 - 07:57Skal A3.A-C strikkes mellom hver raglan? Altså A-C x4 på en omg? Eller skal omgangen starte med A3.A og B strikkes over hele omgangen til man avslutter med C?

28.08.2018 - 04:40I am working on Serine Spring Drops 0-1104. Under the instructions for the Yoke, it states to knit all stitches and increase by 20 (for a medium) evenly for a total of 154. How do you increase evenly? How do the incorporate the extra 20 stitches?

Dear Dee, To calculate how to decrease/increase evenly, use the total number of stitches on row (e.g. 154 stitches) and divide stitches by number of decreased/increases to be done (e.g. 20) = 7,7. In this example work approx. every 7th and 8th stitch together. When increasing make 1 yarn over after every approx. 8th stitch. On next round work yarn overs twisted to avoid holes. I hope this helps.

17.08.2018 - 11:13I love the drop designs, I have tried this pattern 3 timers with no success, don't understand the directions, I'm ok until I get to the k all sts and Inc 20 sts evenly.if u have 134 stitches how can u Inc 20sts evenly to get 154? I'm left handed, just wish there was a step by step video
