Krajová oka - vroubkový vzor
Je několik různých způsobů, jak krajová oka plést. Zvolený způsob pletení krajových ok závisí na typu úpletu - zda jde o okraj, který je určený k sešití a krajová oka se tedy schovají ve švu, nebo zda jde o volný okraj, který zůstane viditelný (např. šály či přední okraje kabátků).
Krajová oka pletená vroubkovým vzorem jsou vhodná v případě, že chceme úhledný pevný okraj dílu, který budeme později sešívat nebo z něj budeme nabírat oka pro další práci. Tato krajová oka pleteme v každé řadě hladce.

Naše video-ukázky nemají zvuk. Jsme společností s pobočkami po celém světě a naše videa sledují lidé napříč zeměkoulí; mluví různými jazyky a většinou nerozumí česky. Proto videa doprovází jen krátký komentář s nejdůležitějšími instrukcemi a samotná ukázka je bez zvuku. Nic vás tedy při jejím sledování neruší.

I'm making the Chilly Day Balaklava and it asks me to cast off and then make an edge stitch. Is the cast off loop the edge stitch already and I knit it coming back or do I make the next stitch the edge stitch? Thank you!

Dear Michaela, cast off the number of sts for your size, the remaining stitch on the right needle is your edge stitch that will be worked in garter stitch, then knit 17-25 sts, YO, K1, insert a marker, K1, YO, knit 17-25 sts, finish with 1 edge stitch in garter stitch=40--56 sts. Happy knitting!

Hi, I am referring to the Wild Daisy Vest pattern. It says 'Cast on 53-60-66-72-79 sts (incl 1 edge st in each side)' - does this mean to cast on an extra 2 stiches or are the 2 edge stitches included in the original total?

Dear Mrs Bock, as the 2 edge stitches are included, you don't have to cast them on extra, just cast on the requested number of stitches for your size. Happy knitting!

Liebe Melanie, wenn man krausrechts in Reihen strickt, strickt man die krausrechte Maschen jeder Reihe rechts - siehe Video - wenn man krausrechts in Runden strickt, strickt man abwechlsungsweise rechts und links - siehe Video. Kann das helfen? Viel Spaß beim Stricken!

Liebe Melanie, wenn man die Randmaschen krausrechts strickt, wird man die 1. und die letzte Masche rechts bei den Hin- sowie bei den Rückreihen stricken - die anderen Maschen dazwischen werden wie in der Anleitung gestrickt, hier im Video zuerst glatt rechts dann alle Maschen krausrechts. Kann das Ihnen helfen?

Hello! I'm trying to knit the Foggy Autumn Cardigan as my first ever cardigan. The pattern says to `knit up 1 stitch in each row, inside the 1 edge stitch`. Does this refer to both of the rows that form 1 ridge? Or just 1 row or the bump formed by the garter stitch. Thanks in advance.

Dear Phoebe, you can see an example in the following video: https://www.garnstudio.com/video.php?id=1728&lang=en. You knit up 1 stitch in each of the edge stitches, which were worked in garter stitches when you worked the body (1 edge stitch in garter stitch on each side). So you pick up 1 stitch along the edge. These are the edges where the buttons and buttonholes will be worked in, so they are the front piece edges. First you work one edge and then the other one, so you will pick up stitches on one side for one edge and then on the other one for the other edge. Happy knitting!

A l emmanchure du dos, on dit diminuer 2mailles au debut des 2 rangs suivants cependant on a 54 mailles et on doit se retrouver avec 50 mailles donc 4 mailles en moins et non 8 mailles;faut il diminuer 1F 2 mailles de chaque cote? ou 1fs 1 mailles sur 2rgs? ca n'est pas bien expliqué!!
