Tässä DROPS videossa näytämme miten virkataan hatun viimeinen kerros, jossa virkataan samalla teräslangan ympäri. Tällä tavoin lieristä tulee hieman tukevampi. Voit itse päättää käytätkö yksinkertaista vai kaksinkertaista teräslankaa. Videossamme virkkaamme kiinteitä silmukoita kaksinkertaisen teräslangan ympäri. Kierrä teräslangan päät pari kertaa toistensa ympäri ja aseta ne reunan viereen. Päättele langanpäät ja ompele samalla teräslangan päiden yli siten, että ne jäävät huomaamattomiksi. Dear Mr Ce Lynch, Most of our wool comes from South America - Peru mostly - and it's sourced from farms that follow strict quality/enviromental regulations. Animals like the alpacas for example are often only shed once a year, and are the complete livelihood of these farms.
