How to knit rib stitch cable

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a cable with rib (K2, P2 and P1 in each side) over 16 stitches. We have already knit a piece with K2 and P3 in each side = sample has 26 stitches.

Row 1 in video:
Right Side: K2, P3. Now start the cable: Slip 8 sts on cable needle in front of piece, P1, K2, P2, K2 and P1, then P1, K2, P2, K2 and P1 from cable needle, finish with P3, K2, turn.
Wrong Side: K2, K over K and P over P, finish with K2, turn.
Right Side: K2, P3, K over K and P over P and finish with K2, turn.
Continue like this and knit the cable in every 16th row (from RS).

We use DROPS Eskimo in the video and the little knitting sample is knitted in DROPS Cotton Merino.
