Slik leser du en målskisse

Måleskissen finner du nederst under hver oppskrift. Den inneholder målene på de størrelser vi har i oppskriften. Hvis du følger oppskriften og overholder strikke-/heklefastheten får ditt plagg samme mål som i skissen.

Hvis du syns det er vanskelig å bestemme deg for hvilken størrelse du skal lage, så kan det være en god ide å måle en genser du har og liker størrelsen på. Velg deretter størrelse ut fra målene som på målskissen tilsvarer dette.

Hvis din genser har en lengde på 60 cm, en brystvidde på 96 cm og en omkrets nederst på 108 cm, så tilsvarer dette str L på denne målskissen.

Omkretsen nederst = 54 cm x 2 = 108 cm hele veien rundt!

Brystvidden = 48 cm x 2 = 96 cm i omkrets over brystet!

Hi, I would like to knit 'Meet the Sun' (pattern no sk-020) for my petite 14 year old daughter. The dimensions of the pattern don't make sense - the chest measurement is 104 centimetres for a small, which seems very big if measuring at the bust. She is 74 cm at the bust (exactly) and 91 cm if measured just below the shoulders. Can you advise where I should measure her to be in line with the measurements in the chart, so that I can resize it correctly?

Dear Natalia, in this pattern body is worked in the round = in one part, this mean you cast on stitches for both front and back piece on the same needle = 84 to 126 depending on the size and work in the round to the armhole. Happy knitting!

In the drawing the number range from 64 to 75 for the top. Yet the pattern range is 35 to 41 stitches to start. What does the 64 to 75 mean? Stitches, inches?? Following the pattern directions does not yield the size indicated. I have ripped out this piece twice and am determined to do it again till it is right.

Dear Mrs Nordgren, the numbers in the chart shows only finished measurements in cm for each size - maybe you could ask your question in the pattern you are working on? It would be much easier for us to help you with the number of stitches and measurements - but also remember to check and keep your gauge to get the correct finished measurements as in the chart. Bonjour Mme Martin, les carrés des bandes sont décrits dans le schéma: la bande de l'épaule gauche (quand on porte le pull) se tricote avec les carrés-2, -3 et -1; celle de l'épaule droite: -1, -2 et -3 et celle de l'encolure: -3, -1 et 4 (avec des spécificités pour l'encolure dos et devant). Dear Carmela, Sweet Melody Cardigan: you start with 78 sts and increase first 4 sts at each of the 4 markers a total of 7 times (= 112 sts inc) then 2 sts at each of the 4 markers 1 time (= 8 sts inc), you have: 78+112+8= 198 sts. Does it help? Happy knitting!
