How to knit a pocket on the inside
Knit the pocket separate and put the sts on a holder. Knit the front piece until position for the pocket.
Now knit the sts from center front edge to where the pocket starts, put the same number of sts as there are on the pocket on a st holder or waste yarn for pocket opening, knit the sts from the pocket and then remaining sts on row. Continue to work front piece as before on all sts. When finished put sts from holder on needle. Knit an edge and then bind off. Sew sides of pocket edge to front. Sew pocket lining to wrong side in such a way that the sts do not show on right side.

Hello Amina! Yes, you can lift pocket stitches to stitch holder, cast on new stitches above them and continue knitting. Later knit pocket lining and sew it on a place from the wrong side. You could also knit pocket stitches with scrap yarn and later knit pocket lining and pocket edge from there. Happy knitting!

Hallo liebes Drops Team ich habe diese geniale Taschen Lösung in einem Pulli von unten nach oben gestrickt verwendet. Nun meine Frage: funktioniert das auch ganze auch wenn ich von oben nach unten stricke? Ich steh gerade total auf der Leitung und kriege den Knoten im Kopf nicht auf:-) Vielleicht könnt ihr Licht ins Dunkel bringen. Danke

Hab ich schon öfter gemacht, aber diese Variante von Euch ist genial, man braucht nix umständlich abketten und wieder aufnehmen, einfach geradeaus !! Echt cool!! Leider hab ich das zu spät entdeckt, habe gestern die Taschen nach umständlicher Methode gearbeitet. Aber das nächste Teil folgt auf der Nadel sozusagen ;)))!!! In this video (Pocket - On Inside) I'm seeing the majority of the hand stitches as being made left to right being a whipped stitch. Why are you not using the left to right, right to left stitching as shown in your other videos regarding stitching?? Just an Observation, wondering if there is a reason or am I totally missing the picture here. Thanks for your response. lrz
