Hei Brita. Tenker du på sokken Spooky Sunset i DROPS Childre 47-29 (har ingen sokk som heter pooky sunset)? Når du har strikket de første forkortede pinnene (frem og tilbake) strikker du 2 omganger rundt og på siste omgang (2. omgang) flytter du merketrådene (de som satt 15 masker fra midt under på hver side) slik at merketrådene nå sitter 6 masker fra midt under på hver side ( = 12 masker midt under foten). mvh DROPS Design

Dear Aleksandra, after the first part of the short rows, you should have 9-10-11 on one side , 13-13-15 in the center and 8-9-10 on the other side. In the second part, you move the markers so that there is 12-12-14 stitches between them. Now you work short rows but increasing the number of stitches worked on each row. Each time you repeat you will work over the central stitches plus one more stitch on each side of the central stitches and continue until you have 1 stitch left before the markers on the sides of the piece. I don't understand the wedge heel pattern. You start with 18 heel stitches divided in the middle with a stitch marker. The 1. ros says: Knit until 5 stitches remain. What does that mean? Pictures would have been so helpful. Youtube is without voice or captions. You can only guess.

Dear Mrs Sanford, you work heel over 18 sts, and on first row knit all stitches until 5 sts remain on the left needle (remember to increase), then turn and work until 5 sts remain on the left needle on the other side of heel -turn, there are now 5 sts unworked on each side of piece. Continue short rows like this, ie work 1 stitch less at the end of each row on each side increasing on every row from RS as many times as explained in the pattern. Until you have worked the number of rows stated in the pattern. That's for the first part of heel. Happy knitting!

Dear VendulaCZ, in this video the beginning of the rounds where on mid back, while you have to start on the side to slip the stitches on foot on a thread, reason why we need to cut the yarn and join it again before working heel (after having slipped the stitches on a thread). Happy knitting!
