Como tricotar os diagramas para fazer malhas alongadas

Neste vídeo DROPS, mostramos-lhe como tricotar os diagramas A.1 e A.2 da manta para bebé «Terracotta Dreams», do modelo DROPS Baby 39-6 para fazer malhas alongadas. Já tricotámos uma vez A.1 e A.2 em altura e tricotamos 2 vezes A.1 em largura e 1 vez A.2 em largura, com 4 malhas em ponto jarreteira de cada lado. Esta técnica também é usada em outros modelos.
Esta manta tricota-se com o fio DROPS Sky, mas, no vídeo, usamos um fio mais grosso, o DROPS Snow.
Deverá ler as explicações e ver os diagramas para poder seguir devidamente este vídeo. Encontrará modelos que usam esta técnica ao clicar numa das fotografias abaixo.

I do not quite understand what is meant to be done at the solid black squares. "No stitch, move directly to next square in diagram " DO you carry the yarn over two spaces? is the black square just some way to make the no. of stitches in that row " work out"?? h e l p!!!

Dear Jules, when it says no stitch it usually means that the stitch in that position was decreased on a previous row. So, according to the representation, there should be no stitch there, since it has been decreased. You simply ignore the instruction and work the next square. You don't need to leave any spaces or skip over any stitches, since the next square should be worked over the next available stitch. Happy knitting! 22.10.2023 - 22:51
Knitting goes VERY rapidly and verbal explanation is unclear. I found a well done video on youtube-- which IS helpful.
