How to work the beginning to a jumper

In this DROPS video we show how we work the beginning of the Breaking Sunlight jumper in DROPS 213-36, but the same increase with 8 markers is also used in other jumpers. We have already cast on 80 stitches (size S) and knitted 1 round. We start the video by working a rib (knit 1, purl 1) 2 rounds.
Then change to larger needles, work textured pattern (knit 1, 1 in garter stitch)
and put 8 markers in work + 1 mark (green) indicating the beginning of the round. We show 4 more rounds, but the last 2 rounds we do not show the whole rounds.

This jumper is worked in DROPS Paris, but in video we use a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.

Liebe Elisa, das Strukurmuster wird so gestrickt: (1 Masche glatt rechts (= jede Runde rechts stricken) / 1 Masche kraus rechtes (= abwechslungsweise rechst und links stricken - siehe Video für Krausrechts in Runden). Viel Spaß beim stricken! 05.11.2020 - 11:18
