In this DROPS video we show how to work after chart A.1A, A.1B and A.1C to the «Stroll in the Park» jacket in Baby DROPS 33-26.
We have already worked 6 rows and in the video we show row 7 (from right side), row 8 (from wrong siden), row 13 and row 14. We don’t show every rapport of chart A.1B, we work with a less stitches than it says in the pattern and we work 3 garter stitches in each side.
This jacket is worked in DROPS Baby Merino, but in the video we work with a thicker yarn; DROPS Snow.
You must read the pattern and look at the charts to be able to follow this video properly. You’ll find the pattern by clicking on the picture below.

The pattern video has no sound?

Dear Erika, Our videos do not have sound. We are a worldwide company and our videos are watched by people around the world, speaking different languages, many of whom do not understand English. We have therefore written instructions to accompany this video, and there is no sound to disturb while watching. Enjoy! 24.02.2022 - 10:57Gutsmiedl wrote:

Working Row 8 of the hat I have a KNIT stitch which isn't on the chart, the continual vertical column of KNIT stitches. The pattern must shift to the LEFT to P, P, Insert between 4th and 5th ETC. but the KNIT stitch prevents that. HELP !!!!!
13.02.2020 - 18:17DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Mullane, the hat is worked in the round, but the video is showing the pattern worked back and forth on needle, so remember to follow your diagram/pattern at the same time. Happy knitting! 14.02.2020 - 09:04Julie Sheehy wrote:
Thank you I have 1 more question how do I read this making the hat on double pointed needles?
18.12.2019 - 17:46DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sheehy, if you work this diagram on the round, you will then have to work all stitches as they are shown from RS, ie the dashes will be purled every round and the white squares will be knitted every round. Follow the diagram key to that pattern to make sure you are working as it should be. Happy knitting! 19.12.2019 - 08:24Julie Sheehy wrote:
Why are you purling the knitting the purl stitches on the WS . I am confused I thought a dash in the box is a purl?
17.12.2019 - 18:04DROPS Design answered:
Dear Mrs Sheehy, the square with a dash (= 2nd symbol under diagram key) is purl stitch from RS and a knit stitch from WS (= this stitch is worked in reversed stocking stitch). Happy knitting! 18.12.2019 - 08:11
