In this DROPS video we show how you can increase with a loop (aka M1 = make one). This increase will make a little hole.

In the video we show twice how you make a loop on right needle with the working thread away from you. You can make the increased stitch lean in different directions.
If you want the inc stitch to lean to the left you make a loop on right needle with the working thread towards you.

Als het goed is, is je vraag reeds beantwoordt bij het betreffende patroon 201-13, waar je ook deze vraag had gepost. Hopelijk kun je daar verder mee.

Bonjour Mme Rousseau, il est difficile de répondre précisément à votre question sans les explications du modèle - mais vous augmentez dans les sections endroit des côtes, vous tricotez donc en côtes 3 m end/2 m env (et quand le col sera replié sur l'endroit, vous verrez des côtes 3 m env/2 m end). N'hésitez pas à poser votre question sur le modèle concerné pour une réponse plus précise. Bon tricot!

Halfway through the video we have turned the work and show you how to work the yo in front or back loop depending if you prefer a larger or smaller hole. In this DROPS video we show how you can increase and make a new stitch by picking up the loop from the stitch on previous row. You can do it after or before a stitch just as we show in the video. Right side: put your left needle through stitch 2 rows below the stitch on the right needle. Lift it up on your left needle and knit it in the back loop. Left side: put your right needle into the stitch under the first stitch on your left needle. Pick up the loop and put it on your left needle.
