How to knit a rice pattern

In this DROPS video we show how to knit a rice pattern.
This is an easy and nice looking textured pattern, a 2 row repeat only. Cast on an even number of stitches.
Row 1 RS: K1, *P1, K1 tbl (through back loop)*, repeat *-* end row with K1.
Row 2 WS: K all sts on row.
Repeat row 1-2 for pattern.
