Nosta 1 s, nosta vielä toinen s, vie sitten vasemman käden puikko nostettuihin silmukoihin ja neulo ne yhteen. Tämä on vasemmalle kääntyvä kavennus. Monet pitävät tätä tekniikkaa ylivetokavennusta parempana. Tulos on kuitenkin sama.
