Pattern instructions

NOTE: This pattern is written in American English. All measurements in charts are in cm. For conversion from inches to cm - click here. There are different terms for crocheting in American and British English. If this pattern includes crochet, click for "crochet terms" here. For this pattern in British English, please click here.
MAGIC CIRCLE:
To avoid a hole in the middle beg with this technique:
Hold yarn end in the left hand and make a loop around left index finger (from left to right). Hold the loop with left thumb and index finger. * Insert hook through loop, get the yarn from ball, pull thread through loop, make 1 YO on hook and pull YO through st on hook = 1 sc *, repeat from *-* until there are 8 sc in loop, finish with 1 sl st in first sc. Continue as explained in pattern – AT THE SAME TIME pull yarn end so that loop is tighten tog and the hole disappears.

CROCHET INFO:
Replace first sc at beg of round with 1 ch. Finish every round with 1 sl st in first ch from beg of round. I.e. when piece is worked in the round, work alternately from RS and WS and fasten with 1 sl st in first ch on round.
----------------------------------------------------------

SLIPPER:
Slipper is worked on hook size 8 mm / L/11 with 1 strand Eskimo. Beg working from the toe. Piece is first worked in the round - read CROCHET INFO above, then worked back and forth.

FOOT:
Make a MAGIC CIRCLE - see explanation above with medium blue/purple.
ROUND 1 (WS): Turn piece and inc 6-7-8 sc evenly = 14-15-16 sc.
ROUND 2 (RS): Turn piece and work 1 sc in every sc.
ROUND 3 (WS): Turn piece and inc 6-7-8 sc evenly = 20-22-24 sc.
Work 3 rounds with 1 sc in every sc, finish with 1 sl st in first ch (last round is worked from RS). Switch to hot pink and work until piece measures 9-10-11 cm / 3½”-4”-4½”.

HEEL:
Now divide the piece and work back and forth over the first 16-18-20 sts. When slipper measures approx. 21-24-26 cm / 8¼”-9½”-10¼”, place it double and work tog mid back with 1 row sl sts from WS through both layers.

EDGE:
Work around the entire slipper from RS with hot pink as follows: 1 sc in every row and 1 sc in every sc mid on top of foot, finish round with 1 sl st in 1st sc. Fasten off.
Work another slipper.

Bon crochet!

DOT 13.02.2018 - 17:00:

Tks for your prompt reply but I'm confused ! Can u just let me know how I can get the pattern in English version OR let me know if it should be 3Ch instead og 1Ch. ! Tks !!!

DROPS Design 13.02.2018 kl. 23:05:

Dear DOT, you can select the correct version if you click the roll down menue just under the picture. Make sure you are reading the version you need (for example "dc is different for the American and the British crocheters). The first stitch should be replaced with one chain stitch. Happy crafting!

DOT 13.02.2018 - 15:06:

Pattern for crochet info reads "Replace first dc at beg of round with 1 Ch ! With dc crochet in round and rows, should it not read 3ch instead of 1ch =

DROPS Design 13.02.2018 kl. 16:51:

Dear Mrs Dot, make sure you are reading correct English language, remember US- and UK- English have different terminology. Happy crocheting!

Camilla 16.12.2015 - 00:25:

Nathalex 19.12.2013 - 15:01:

Facile et rapide à faire !

Lena 20.11.2013 - 14:56:

Bonjour, Que veut dire diviser l'ouvrage? Merci. Cordialement!

DROPS Design 20.11.2013 kl. 15:01:

Bon crochet!

Natalie 27.06.2013 - 21:27:

Janet 24.06.2013 - 20:48:
